I dont know , has anyone else had Riva Tuner degrage performance on them..
I'd want to use it as a fan controller but I keep uninstalling it after I constantly notice my gaming performance degrade..
Crysis lost a noticable 20fps in a few areas..
Some places lost a good 10fps , only using the fan settings option !!!!

Why does this happen..it wasn't like this back in the XP days..

why is that everytime i set the clocks in rivatuner, all 3 states (2D, low power and performance) are being set to that clock speed? i mean, the clocks just stay at the speed you set no matter how much the GPU load is.

    I have a few questions.
I am using 2 of the 8800GTS 640mb cards. They are in SLi. One is an A2 Revision and the other an A3.
I read that you could get better/higher (core & shader clock) overclocking with the A3.

    1. Since I have them in SLi will overclocking them together cause issues?

    2. Also; does the one in the main slot dictate the max limit that I can OC; since one is supposed to get a higher limit?
Right now I can go as high as (770/1785/1190).

Never Mind these questions. I found the answers to them on my own last night (Nov. 6, 2008) when search for answerers to a totally different set of questions.
