Turn out you can use ntune to OC in the meantime until Unwinder releases 2.06 (can't wait).
The new ForceWare beta 169.01 breaks RivaTuner 2.05 overclocking. The clockspeeds are not detcted and the sliders can not be adjusted, using Vista 32bit.
same prob on vista
Same on XP 32bit.
Starting Windows my graphics adapter runs with default clocks (instead of lower ones as it did before) but when detecting hardware acceleration it uses my overclocking profile (as it did before) and when finished it switches back to default clock again automatically.
I found this running the Crysis Demo.
2.05 + vista64 + 8800gtx + 169.01 drivers
how do i o/c with this above as i cant get the o/c menu to turn on just just detects then turns off
p.s when is 2.06 out
I've got same problem on Vista 32;/ Maybe it'll be fine in riva tuner 2.06
2.06 is out now, and all is good with 169.04.
