Rivatuner scanline sync x/2 work like vsync 1/2 from nvidiaProfileInspector?

    the only method I know to have 30 smooth fps as on console without gsync or freesync is to activate vsync 1/2 on nvidia profile inspector but sometimes it doesn't work and you have to restart the pc, it also increases the input lag enormously,so I was wondering if activating vsync in game and blocking at 30fps with scanline x / 2 would work like a double vsync

    locking at 30 fps normally with frame limit causes inconsistency in frame pacing

    Try it. If your monitor has a 60Hz refresh rate, scanline sync x/2 will limit the fps to 30, with much lower input lag. I don't use it often (i prefer 60fps), but when I experimented with RTSS, x/2 provided much better and consistent framepacing then just using Vsync 1/2 in the drivers. Keep in mind that scanline sync needs GPU overhead to keep the tearline stable. Then again, if you limit games to 30 fps, you should have enough.
