I have an issue with Rivatuner, 7.1.0 (stable version), it fails to detect active applications. I've reinstalled the app a few times with no luck.

Also, this may be unrelated, but I've noticed Eset smart security 11.1.54.0 (latest and licensed) is failing to launch gamer mode when any game is launched.

Both apps used to detect running applications, just recently they have failed to do so.

Windows 10, 1803, all latest updates installed.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

RTSS only detects applications that actually use APIs RTSS can hook to. If you start notepad for example, it won't show up. Notepad doesn't use graphics APIs (like Direct3D or OpenGL.)

Edit : I thought that it had affected all games, although It detected Bf1 fine (Direct3d11)

    Thanks for your help.

Is it supposed to detect games such as Forza Horizon 3? Uwp?

I can't get it to show in the "active 3d application list", even when Forza horizon 3 is running.

    Rivatuner v7.1.0

I'm quite sure not so long ago, Forza 3 was detected in rivatuner whilst running (when I held down ctrl and clicked add).

    Thanks again.

I think it should. Maybe there's already a profile for it? Applications that already have a profile are not shown when your press Shift+Add.
