That Strix is the godlike gpu of lower-mid range. Fast, cool and silent with an interesting consumption. I can't find anything wrong here except a 'lil overpricing.

It is equal or better than 1070 and Vega56, in the meantime has all the perks mentioned above. RX 590 seems a very bad option now. Almost 100w more power and much less performance. If Nvidia controls the pricing better, they've won easily all the gaming categories at the moment.

They don't need to. people will get this over the RX 590 and V56 simply because of efficiency and noise.

There is a lot of difference in the price but I think that the performance at 1080p, which is about + 20%, justifies it? Sure if it was cheaper by 50 dollars but here we have to do with Nvidia :)
And I'm sorry for my English

I'm sorry do you see another card by nvidia that is $279 in this performance? No? Then your question is answered.

I'm very pleased to see that the GTX 1660 Ti holds up against the Vega 56, while also being half as expensive in my country; it's going to sell like hotcakes.

when did the 1070 needed more than 6GB of VRAM? even the 2060 does just fine with 6GB including 1440P and 4K....

    So Palit/Gainward Rtx 2060 ~340-350 euros(mindfactory).
    This 1660Ti ~ 300 euros?No way.
(With the future of Ray Tracing that Rtx 2060 is better than this Gtx 1660)

This card will be a vacuum cleaner for the mid-range. It will suck up all sales in its segment. AMD knew it needed to heavily mark down prices of 580, 590 and v56 recently. Performance vs efficiency will be an added sweetener.

at 2k, 4k if you see the graphs the difference from 1070 to 590 is very small
in future games there will be a problem

All £259, not a bad price at all for slightly better than 1070 performance.
    MSI Ventus
    Palit Storm x
    Asus Pheonix
    Gigabyte
    PNY
    Zotac

2060 prices start at £313 then most common at £329.

It's very small because the load has increased and fps numbers are much smaller. the percent difference is basically the same.
and no you don't need more than 6GB for the 1660Ti. that's nonsense
this card can't play 4K today so you expect it to play 4K in future games? are you serious?
