    Flicker

The flickering on the F'Keys would do my head in. Unless thats a software problem thats a big miss for me.

You mean in the video? I think that's a problem between the frequency of the LEDs and the frequency of the camera, which are not synced. I doubt it'll show up on the keyboard itself.

Perhaps Hilbert can confirm that or not.

Correct shutter-speed, it is the video / recording. You will not see flickering with your eyes.

Does that mean the brightness level of led keyboards is PWM controlled? I never thought about that. Better screens got rid of PWM because of flickering, but now the problem transferred to keyboards?

  6. Does anyone know a seller that ships this item abroad?
I want one but can't find a single seller that will ship it to me.
As long as the kb itself and/or shipping fee isn't ridiculous.
I live in Singapore by the way (South East Asia, not China)

I've checked NCIX/Newegg/Amazon and they don't ship abroad.

Seems like a decent board, but I think the price is a bit much. You can get RGB MX/Clone Red boards for nearly half the cost.

Do people really buy keyboards because they have backlit keys?

The color effects can be gimmicky, but per key coloring is useful. One can group key functions by color, which, when in doubt, can help to identify keys. To me that is very useful.

However, mechanical keyboards are not about coloring. The typing experience is way better than those crappy membrane keyboards. Once you're used to mechanical switches, you'll never want to go back. Having per key coloring is icing on the cake.
