We review what I deem to be one of the nicest looking and fastest DDR4 memory kits ever. Meet the all-new XTREEM ARGB CL14 kit from Team Group. This T-Force 16GB (x2 8GB) memory is magic to your eyes,...

this aida benchmark on ryzen is very low in bandwith compared to what i get on my system

These kits use 1.45v vs the Gskill Neo kits using 1.4v. I know the Neo are B-die. What does it mean for the memory used if these use higher voltage?

The gskill neo has more relaxed timings than these so it makes sense it would need lower voltage.

maybe secondary and third timing titgher, or maybe cl to 13 or 3733mhz work without upping vdimm!:)

The two retailers I have found that sell this memory are newegg(also through Ebay) and Amazon. They only sell the CL 16 and 18 Kits. There has been no sign of the CL 14 kits for 3 months now. Did the reviewers get a test sample? Will the US market ever get these faster kits?

    Yeah, indeed, I bought, too, a kit of two ( 2x8GB ) running at 3,2Ghz and 1,35V CL16.

But since I use Intel, I should have put more thinking before. Now I'd like a kit of CL14 or CL15 running at 2,6Ghz with only 1,2V. Here I learnt Intel doesn't benefit as much from a kit running just 600Mhz faster. Let alone paying with my leg in order to get this kit. It would have been cheaper

Currently I run kit my kit at 2,6Ghz, CL15-15-15-36-374 with 1,2V only and so far all good. If I start seeing problem, upping the voltage to 1,25V with fix it. Also, it easily runs with CL14-14-14-34 with 1,3V, too, but I see no difference at all.

If you don't see any difference, it means that you aren't cpubound. You are gpubound.

Try Battlefield V multiplayer or newest Tombraider with 2080ti, and you will be massively cpubound/ memory bandwidth bound. :)

That's why I made the personification of mid-range PC. !080p, 75Hz, Vsync, FPS Limiter at 75. My CPU rarely runs above 65% and my GPU with Ultra settings, 80% utilization. And all these with under 800 euros with PSU 650W Modular Platinum, 3xSamsung 860 and 1x970 EVO. Couldn't be more happier. When the prices drop considerably, I'll get an I9 9900 or I7 9700 and that's it. Then, only GPU upgrades. Given the current naming scheme, I'll for RTX/GTX 4060. I guess the 3060 will be at 7nm and 4060 refined.

I'm receiving my second pair of 8GB in 3 days, I'm so impressed with the look and performance. Yesterday I was fiddling with overclocks on them and I was able to get them to 4600 with CL 17 18 18 36 just on auto at 1.486-1.5Volt...

Can I ask Hilbert if you could perhaps do a deeper dive into the workings of ram and its effects I know you did a pretty good breakdown in this article but have just looked at some comparisons with one of my PCs vs the one used in this article and whilst I think I understand the differences thrown up I would like to be able to properly understand them, so in comparison to some of the figures you show I have the screen shots below, clearly the Ram your reviewing is better due to its lower response etc but how do the other figures work as an example DDR2400 vs DDR266 yet both are 3600? and the same with the Aida test this particular CPU is not OC at all its just as it comes as its the one my Wife uses for work so stability is more important but it would be good to get a proper in depth article with the same references and figures used as many I have read use alternate names for Ram typical example the 2400 vs the 2600 in this post
Have just ordered 4 sticks for my own PC as the colours look very nice and it should give me a small uplift in performance
