    OMG you be joking.
    You said
Then show some random video,I feel so petty for doing this.

14 videos of my own PC gameplay but I am not using RTX 3090TI here but you get the point with 12900K 5500Mhz/5400Mhz all core overclock with RTX 3080 or RTx 3090 I forgot really and maybe only 10 games with DLSS.

Not 1 of the 14 games are over 1oo FPS

    570x Taichi = £320
    5800x3d = £420
    32gb Corsair DDR4 =£100
Thats a decent gaming set up for little more than the price of just a 7950X.
Throw in a 6900xt at £750 and current gen looks favourable to next gen if cost/perf/heat/energy are taken into consideration.

You don't need to believe me but that video I linked shows that you can get 140+ now in WZ. You are posting crap from 2021... DLSS 2.0 has advanced a lot since then and you are also running a 3080... 4k gaming is for 3090 - 3090 ti. Plenty of videos show it... but I guess all of them are lying as well.. lol PS not going to bother replying to you about as this is a CPU Topic.

haha, that is nuts, So I guess with a 4090 price from AIB you can get 3 of them?

You don't even NEED the 570x Taichi MB. Some 200 Euros MB will be fine since you cannot OC the 5800X3D. Just get a good MB with good VRM.

Heck you can probably afford the 4080Ti/4090 Ransom with this setup by drinking water and sipping on air for a few months.

I used the Taichi as an example as its a good mobo that can do 3 x nVME drives, so you can get a fast robust and flexible system for the money.

Just stick to your 3080 bro.

Let me point out that I never stated that all the games I play at 4k are on ultra settings. I don't play all my games at max because 1/3rd of the crap that you have on really does not make much of a difference in visuals.

A good example is shadowing on ultra vs high you can hardly see the difference.

Tessellation is hardly used in games and when it is placed there you can see very minor differences.

I showed a video with WZ at 4k that showed ultra settings running at 130-140fps.

I am just seeing magic fps in my games I guess. A bit like the new DLSS 3.0 "fake frames"

Nvidia still has a lot to improve with DLSS 2.0 and 3.0 will take years to become "worthy"

Awesome you change your post, typical.Well I agree RTX 3080 I showed is only for poor people. So If I show a RTX 3090 you will not be impressed.Maybe RTX 3090Ti we can be on equal terms but you can still hate me.

So quick clip RTX 3090Ti with 500FPS in menu at 4K DLSS 2.0 ultra performance which is actual 720P render at PC game play 79FPS.

    Stop trying to trick people

I remember from the 1800X days. Had a 3600C16 ram, took it and worked flawlessly, but the boot times were annoying.

Considering they have been behind Intel in overall performance for years, with the entire Ryzen lineup, only eeking out value wins and mega threaded wins, I'd say the point is quite clear. Even considering the top end run blisteringly hot (literally) and eat 200w power at full bore, then that's still less power consumption and heat than Intel 12th gen top end. While outperforming it.

Personally, I am on wait and see but having no good feeling for the whole AM5 platform.
The IHS is too thick that is why we see high temps and high-power consumption.

Also the performance on Windows seems iffy at best.

On Linux the 7950X performs much better even in games (beating the 5800X3D), though Phoronix used a 6800XT instead of 3090.

"Awesome you change your post" never changed my post as I never stated all my games run on ultra, I stated Warzone does and I get 140fps. :D

That game is trash... unoptimized pile of crap. It was a failure when it came out. Still massive bugs and issues in it... It looks amazing but runs like crap on anything. I will also point out that the story was trash... such a huge hype for a disappiontment.

Nvidia is working with the cyberpunk team to "optimize their game for the 4000 series cards" having to sell their cards with DLSS 3.0 bullshit otherwise the game also runs like crap on the 4000 cards. lol

This ain't no different to them selling their cards when Crysis was a benchmark you know that game that also ran like crap no matter what...

They can sell anything to dumb people though. I got all my 3000 series cards for 1/3rd the price.

From all the reviews I've seen so far it looks like a productivity powerhouse while still excellent at gaming.

Personally though the cost of entry and power requirement is too steep so I think I'll be making a move to a 5900X + (AMD's new GPU if not end up disappointing like the NV 4000 series)/6900XT/3080 budget upgrade coming from a 3700X/2070S.

We can only wait for the REAL reviews. Everyone knows Nvidia skews their results, like calling a 4070 a 4080 12gig. lol

Yeah I also read about the compatibility thing. AMD went dumb dumb route on that I feel.Well at least the thickness. Because all people would need is new coolers like pretty much every gen of Intels or just new pieces to fit it. Since shaving off let's say for example 10-15 degrees of the CPU these would run even faster stock.

Techpowerup review says the first boot takes around 90 seconds and the following ones take around 30 seconds...

They have reached AMD about this and their response is that they are still working on their BIOS trying to improve this and other small issues.

It seems AM5 is suffering from growing pains, just like AM4 when released.

Maybe it`s better to let the platform mature a little.

Unfortunately this is the trend right now in the industry: Nvidia, Intel, AMD disregard for commons sense in order to milk the last drop of performance from their chips.
On the other side AMD ECO mode looks promising - in ryzen master simply enable it when you surf the internet or do light work and disable it when you need to release "the beast" or the room is not warm enough or the wife is nagging you and you need an excuse to not hear what she says because those AIO fans will scream, trust me!

the only block with issues is EKWB as they have new shiny one to sell you.

also, your issue with the IHS is not making sense. Thick is good as in this case is diffusing the heat from the ccx’s as they are much smaller and will cool both more effectively and with a larger reserve before saturation.
if anything folks should make sure that their cold plate actually matches the dimensions of the IHS for both Intel and AMD as all designs are now technically MCM.
