    Manufacturers should make more M.2 NVMe SSDs instead of the M.2 SATA drives. M.2 SATA is pointless unless you simply have no other choice, like in ultrabooks or as a second SSD in a fancier laptop boasting a full M.2 slot. Perhaps some mini PCs might also benefit from it, I have no idea. But it's pointless for a regular desktop. Average laptops still don't even have an M.2 slot in the first place.
