AMD isn't your friend. They are just here to make as much money as possible from you and everyone else. (same as any company)

I usually do that but this time I hesitated. Anyway, let's see how easy/hard it will be to get one in 15 minutes.

What interests me most, and hasn't been delivered in a single review or gameplay video, is how this card performs in the most stressful games (Cyberpunk, WDL, DL2, Control) with ray tracing on but without DLSS at 4K.

It's all very well telling us the 3090 was 20fps in Cyberpunk under those circumstances but comparing it to 4090 with DLSS3 on at 85fps is a bit pointless.

I want to see more relevant numbers before I consider this purchase.

Thanks. This is where I was going as I suspected this arch would scale down on power very nicely. Thats like 130 watts less too.

I wish Nvidia/AMD would sell GPUs without coolers and cheaper. It's a waste if one plans to custom watercool one.

Almost twice performance of 3090Ti - I can tell you that it consumed less power than 3090Ti while destroying it:

RT on without DLSS 4k: https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_rtx_4090_founder_edition_review,19.html

    and with/without DLSS: https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_rtx_4090_founder_edition_review,21.html

They won't unless AMD's forces their hand. I'm not sure how likely that is but that would be the only reason to lower prices on the 4090. My gut is AMD has no desire to get in a pricing war at the very top end.

I could see the 4080 12GB getting a lower price possibly immediately after AMD launches as that will very likely be the area that AMD will want to undercut Nvidia. AMD should have a lot of room to do so and still take in a good profit. We all know the 4080 12GB is a 4070 with a 4080 price tag and of course so does AMD. I expect a lower tier of pricing from AMD to go up against this card.

    monstrous performance indeed at 4K.

btw, I take it this card doesn't support win 7 ?
I want to upgrade my 1060 to 4060 later, but if the whole Ada gpus don't support win 7, I think I'll buy the 3060 then.

NVIDIA isn't listing FE cards in my country at all. And all the biggest online retailers seems to have gotten next to no stock. Might be something to those claims about NVIDIA having most of the stock in the US markets and not distributing much to the EU at all.

This is an FE model, the mods he sells are mainly for the 3rd party boards. And he sells them for people who want to achieve the highest score in synthetic benchmarks. Here is talking about gaming. +30% extra power consumption for only 5% more performance is just stupid and he is only pointing that out.

Well he didn't test enough games as I already pointed out here https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/r...0-founder-edition.444977/page-11#post-6059611
In some games you lost a ton of FPS if you lower power target.
