Thanks for the tip. I just installed that build, ran the benchmark...BAM!

Yep same here, just installed the new windows build and the problem is gone. Will update the article in the next half hour.

Small note: Windows 10 1703 build 15063.674 or higher is the version you want.

You can type winver to check your build.

Locked out yeah, that sucks. But really, after like swapping almost 20 graphics cards and installing the game on a 4th PC ... it does kinda make sense right? The UBI thing was like switch three or four cards and boom, you're out.

What about the RX Vega memory usage? I thought they had some intelligent system for keeping memory usage in check.

I am getting constant "out of memory, try lowering your settings" error when i try to run the game at 4k :(. Doesnt matter what settings i use its always same error if i use 4k....
    Game runs fine on 1440p...

I am using Win 10 rs3 and latest NVIDIA driver.

Damn, that's a lot of VRAM usage with 4K Texture Pack. But will someone like me who has below 8GB of VRAM (6GB here on my GTX 980 Ti) really experience minimal performance issues while playing on 1440p on Ultra ?

Thanks for the article Hilbert btw.

It works for a while but eventually VRAM usage will build up though 6 GB might be manageable, 4 GB in my case is too limiting after an hour or so with the frequently getting some serious stuttering as the GPU is swapping data around.

It's not a huge difference in-game but there are some areas that are more affected than others such as decals like paint on armor being more defined with the texture pack installed, some of the environment and architecture textures are a bit blurry looking by default too so those might see some more noticeable improvements as well.

don't think that they did any good profile for this game. I only read that SLI isn't working as it should and single gpu must be in use for BETTER performance.

Well....latest build of Windows10, newest driver 388.00, right back to the 45fps bug in the benchmark. This is BS.

EDIT: I didn't do a clean install of Win10 FCU, just a refresh. Things are back to normal. I'm still left asking, "What in Win10 FCU caused the issue." Very odd.

EDIT II: Installed the latest driver 388.13, right back to the same issue.....44-45fps in the benchmark! This is starting to get REAL OLD WB!
