In this article, we review the Glorious Model O mouse, for which pre-orders started as early as in March 2019. It’s a (non)typical wired gaming mouse, and you’ll find RGB lighting here as well. Th...

There's also a slightly smaller Model O- It's a good replacement for those using a Zowie FK2 atm and are looking for a better sensor, etc.

    Reasons not to buy: Holes.

How possibly hard can it be to release a version without holes. They will get filled with dust and gunk after weeks of usage (please tell me cool stories about how spotless your hands are and you don't have dirt nor dust. I won't buy it).
Slap on top of it glossy version, which will be even more prone to the above mentioned issues.

Hard pass up until they won't come up with a solid version.

Razer Viper or Logitech G Pro Wireless is a better option then for you. I was skeptical at first as well but there's no gunk of dirt build-up atm. Though I do keep my hands extremely tidy. I can't stand overtly moist or greasy hands. It even got to the point where I would bring cleaning tissues / soap to LAN's specifically to keep them clean and I'd flip out if someone with greasy hands touched my stuff.

It's good there aren't any holes on the side though (some mice have this), it would feel weird when gripping it tbh.

Also has been used to show that Razer's Synapse software really does negatively affect mouse performance:

NOTE: this wasn't the case on the Razer Viper, but people using older Razer mice with their 3G or 3.5G sensors, be weary.

I hope no one have trypophobia. This mouse looks like it can trigger it. :p

I keep my hands always tidy, and clean my hardware regularly. As a keyboard nerd, I always keep them in a mint condition (that includes hoovering).

Just like you I have cleaning tissues that I regularly use for my mouse + keyboard. Nevertheless, there is always some dirt, on the sides especially and in specific during summer. Everyone's hands get sweaty and dead skin+ sweat = gunk. Slap on top of it dust.
It is beyond me how to clean the inside of those holes or if something falls through them. Can you take off the lid or unscrew it?

I resell these mouses and almost ALL of them came back with damaged USB cable. It's a good mouse, but the cable is a big problem. Just look at the pictures from this review, the usb cable can be folded in 180º and that's not healthy at all.

My mouse is actually the one part I like having RGB on. It helps for telling which dpi setting I'm on, though I never leave it on.

Just replaced a worn out Razer Imperator 2012 with a new Deathadder Elite...Nice! ;)

(Razer mice always had a switchable RGB Razer Logo).

i have been using LG as long as can remember, mmmm! Years, so reliable, but i must say i do like the look of this.

Could it also stop a sweaty hand? Or do i have a hand that looks like the inside of beehive after 2 -3 hrs playing games :p

That's a feature, look it up!
Right, after a few days of handling that mouse with dirty paws, you will reach a new level to "get your hands dirty" to do actual job.

No amount of personal cleanliness is going to keep those rigid holes from gathering skin cells and other nasty build up. Hard pass on the petri dish mouse.

This is true! I also work for a retailer who has sold these mice (we stopped selling them after about 1 month, and we sold a LOT of them in that time), and practically all of them came back for the same issue. The cable is bad, so the most common issue is that the mouse disconnects and reconnects all the time. Most of them came back within about 2 weeks, some took a bit longer. I am fairly sure that all of them will get this problem eventually. Hopefully they will make a batch that isn't actually defective.

Be warned! Do not buy this mouse until Glorious says they fixed this specific problem!

Agreed about the holes, it's just not functional. I use a Razer Viper with tiger arcs, and yes, the sensor is better.

I bought this mouse recently...it's awesome/glorious! I like it better than Logitech G303 & GPro. Ultra light mice really do help with accurate flick shots, amoungst other things too.
