Love the computerbase review, they leave absolutely no stone unturned.
    https://www.computerbase.de/2020-12...s-msi-test/3/#abschnitt_lautstaerke__kuehlung

3060ti vs 2080 super from computerbase

    +5% 1440p (17 games avg.)
    +8% 1440p RT on (5 games avg. , 15% in Control)
    +10% 4K DLSS on (3 game avg.)
+13% in 1440p path tracing (Quake 2 RTX)

200w vs 241w power consumption in game
22w vs 44w power draw on desktop with dual monitor setup

Really nice card at $400, better than a $700 2080S in every way.Wish it was available.

    I'll pass

but it's a really good card for they money.
especially in RTX (when a few effects are utilized) +DLSS scenarios (what I want for cp2077) you can expect it to beat 2080S by 20%.

Asus TUF is absolutely amazing once again with 57 degree core temperature at 33dba
ticks all the boxes for my personal liking:
    good 1440p performance and value
a lick of RT at 1440p with DLSS
good power efficiency in games and dual monitor desktop
    super cool and very quiet

I hope by the time I'll be able to buy it 6700xt moves in like a **** on that 3060ti and prices go even further down :p although amd's pricing is kinda hit and miss, 6800 is almost +50% more and only 18% faster, unusable RT due to lack of DLSS counter tech.

Your friend and mine has some interesting DLSS points about this card, and overall an interesting video:

pretty anecdotal compared to other reviews, 2 RT games, 8 others.

Don't feel sorry for us, we're ok. Had the 2080 Super at 600 euro last December. I gamed on it every game at max settings @1440p until today and it's still a powerful card for games that are to be released. I will probably sell it for 200-240 euros anyway, so the "loss" is irrelevant. Also, if I wouldn't have bought the 2080 Super, I would have still used the GTX 1080, which by now is becoming more and more irrelevant in terms of performance.
And this is an issue for a very large percentage of gamers right now. Most of them skipped on the "overpriced" RTX generation and waited for the miracle cards of this generation, which are way overpriced and less available then even in the "mining craze" era. So the first RTX generation might be considered a smart buy, if you look from the perspective of today disastrous market's situation.

3060ti won't be an exception in overpricing and availability. At least in Europe, they'll probably be "unavailable" at over 500 euros, which is a completely stupid price for a mid range card.

In terms of performance this reminds me of the 1660 Super vs the 1660 Ti very close in performance. The same thing applies to the 3070 vs 3060 Ti very close in terms of performance. I am very torn between a 3070 and 3060 Ti.

I'll sell it when I'll find a 6800xt close to its MSRP. Until now, I haven't seen one in stock, no matter the price.... I guess that until February, March, I have no chance to get one. :(

Yeah its very awkward situation atm, I've been looking around too and it's a disaster..

Anyway if I dont get one by then then I will be happy to buy it off, should be more then enough for the games I play, well I play only destiny2 now

Had my 2070 since launch, easily worth the $500.
Still playing games every day, waiting for the EVGA que to work things out.
    No stress, no bullshit.

UK retailers taking the p1ss as always, seen some going for £500.. for a 60 series .. I paid not much more for my 980ti although it's clear we are not going back to decent priced gpus the 20 series sealed that.
