While this is a sponsored title by AMD, it's still an Unreal Engine 4 game which definitely favors Nvidia. Although either system you aren't going to have an issue running it.

See how UE4 can perform good on amd cards if handled right. Agreed with @vbetts even last gen midrange cards will do just fine.

Oof, Fiji based cards are doing crap in this title :'( VRAM limitation?

    No CPU scaling?

Most of the reviews I've seen shows significant differences from 2-6+

Edit: nvm 9900K boosts pretty high and the other reviews weren't using the same cpu 4/8-8/16 seem to be on par

Looking at 1440p and how rx590 is beating 1660ti smells like a vram limitation. Does game have even insane texture setting beside ultra?

This phrase : "Multiple graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked", appears twice in the second paragraph.

I did not expect the game to not hit 120fps at 1080p with the top high end cards.

Even that this isnt the forum for ppl asking how to turn on their pc ,
i would still like to see results for 1 or 2 res with vsync on.
It's still used by a lot of ppl that dont like tearing, and it does lower fps by a noticeable amount.
Maybe not when testing W, but at least for games and lets say 1080p..

Check the review again, there's a known issues with the 1660ti and 415.30 drivers.

It does show the top of the Nvidia card selection is pretty strong when Nvidia could use an AMD sponsored game in their own marketing material no problem.

Why the 1660 performs better than the 1660ti ??

there is not a known issue with the 1660ti and 43x drivers, and we can't assume otherwise until both hardware vendors are able to run the software with the same api features enabled.

Not being utilised fully? Fiji has 8 ACEs if I remember rightly? Same as Hawaii?

I mean to say 430x, not 415x. Did you not see Hilbert's update on the chart pages? "* We're aware of an issue with the 1660 Ti, the driver (.30) is doing something weird at Full HD and WQHD." Whe else would a non ti and 590 be giving the same performance?

That was written by Hilbert/reviewer, and his observation.
Doesn't translate to "Theres a known issue in the driver".

Theres some weird ass behavior with turing in general in this game.

the 2070 is being beaten by the 2060 super for instance.... o_O
they should either be sitting fairly even with the 2070 edging ahead.

should also be ahead of the 1080
