Review: F1 2022: PC graphics performance analysis

Oh god yeah, It's looking awful overall then, DLSS and FSR just exacerbating the problems - can we not do downsampling with a DLSS/FSR pass instead? I hate aliasing when I see it.

 

I don't see how dlss is making it worse, it's not making it better, but not worse. you ss was fsr 1.0 in non-fullcreen mode,not dlss

 

Sigh.... ok Bob if you say so, guess you're the authority on this, cannot discuss opinions with you if you are unable to accept what others have to say.

I just hate this upscaling trend, it's not helping push the boundaries of image quality, it's a step backward.

FSR giving us some of the worst quality, DLSS well, I can only go by the screenshots shown but I'm not impressed there either. What happened to DLAA? I'd really like to see that being used more.

That's precisely why I said it, if you can't see it, that's not my problem.

Edit: It's definitely the case for FSR making IQ worse, it's a blurry mess - DLSS isn't as pronounced but the sharpening in this model is highlighting the aliasing more, hence imo, it's worse.

lol native+taa as always kicks both dlss and fsr ass.

 

Only benefit to DLSS I see here is that it resolves the text better.

dlss has a lot more detail in static ss.

true, dlss actually looks pretty good. Is that the 2.4.6 or 12?

 

it is oversharpened though like Truder pointed out.

 

I prefer the sharper image.

 

yeah but not to the point where it's producing artifacts.
