Corsair released a their RapidFire K70 cherry MX mechanical keyboard with RGB LEDs. The K70 RGB RapidFire is the successor of the REGULAR K70 in terms of the overall basis and concept, but it adds RGB... Review: Corsair Gaming K70 RGB RapidFire keyboard
Am I a kitten? Is this 2005? Why should any of us give a crap about flashy colors and radical led lighting anymore? Just make something dependable and practical.
It's 2016 and apparently it's ALL ABOUT RGB keyboards, motherboards, video cards etc. you name it. Everything needs to have RGB lighting or it might as well not exist anymore and call itself high-end. Nice review though, but that price...
So whats so different about this and the Corsair RGB Strafe? And 2016 is a bad year for tacky immature rgb concepts. The only light you need is a soft white light to show a rig in its elegance. I dont need my eyes to bleed from an overdose of Red/green/blue lighting in my face.
I have the K30 and it lights up the keys red, quite like that, it's not overpowering and is quite good at night Don't like the picture of it with multiple colours at the same time, but the choice of a single colour and brightness control is OK in my book
1- I miss any comment about the question if the short/faster actuacion point exacerbates misstyping, which is the most critized MX Reds main issue. This will make lots of buyers stay away from this KB. 2- Another important topic that should be noted is that the K70 Rapidfire sports the same LED controller as the Strafe RGB wich allow the KB leds to show true 16.8M colors with 0 flickering (an issue wich is well know by K70 users). 3- The fact that the USB pass-through still only supports usb 2.1 is very dissapointing. For this, then it would be better to get rid of it in order to slim the current "AC caliber" cable. 4- Corsair is about to launch a 2.0 version of his CUE software (for those who hate it).
