    Thanks for the review.

    It's good one can remove the "tactical shielding", as I can hardly see any point in covering heatsinks with plastic. Did you check VRM temps with and without these covers?

    I'm afraid that the times of good old mobo heatsinks made of no-bs arrays of alu/copper fins are long gone.

    Received mine yesterday as a replacement for my MSI X99s Gaming 9, which unfortunately died. Problem is, War Thunder now runs like complete ass :grin: Think the game might be allergic to this board :p

    Good review.

    The RAM and L3 cache latency are horrible at stock speeds though.

    Would have liked to see overclocked AIDA results for both the CPU and RAM.
