LG's upcoming monitor has good specs and a decent price but I'd wait for reviews and user reports to see how it actually ends up.

All of those "240hz" 4K panels are just 120Hz panels with either black frame insertion or interpolation.

You have some cheap kidneys and liver! By that evaluation, I sum the total cost of your body at around 10k? I'll take 3 of you!!

I have to assume next year the price will be more reasonable. This has to be one of those low production high price situations like when OLED first come out for TV's and they were all $10,000 or more. Speaking of OLED one can get a decent 65 inch OLED for the same price as this monitor which is just silly town. I really like the FALD concept and high refresh rate they just have to get the pricing to some sane level. I might go as high as $1,000 but that is about max I would be willing to spend I got better things I can drop 3K on.

What? Pay a massive premium over normal monitor prices for a 512 segment FALD monitor panel and then TURN IT OFF??
You have now turned your expensive HDR monitor into equivalent of a cheap edge-lit or single backlight LCD monitor the same as every PC monitor for last 20 years.

    PG35VQ/X35 are dead of arrival.
Never saw a monitor that is overpriced like that.
    -ghosting
    -smearing
-bad sRGB coverage 88%!! and with wide gamut no unit achieve the minimum requirement of 90% DCI-P3
-Red is Purplish (watch PCMONITOR review on YouTube (Acer x35)
    -halo/blooming
    -overheating issue

    and they asked 2700$
    go to hell ASUS/ACER

    easy for your hype.
watch PCMONITOR review for ACER X35 (same panel as PG35VQ). this monitor is the worst ever. Bad colors/ghosting/smearing/halo/blooming and overheating issue
