    Hey Mostafa. No that's just CPU-Z reporting the proc as 9980XE, if you look at the specification line, the proc is properly identified. CPU-Z needs to update their application.

    I was looking into getting one of these new Cascade Lake X CPU's to upgrade my 7900X but if I did I'm sure my Asus Rampage VI Apex board will be fine, if I really want USB 3.2 or 10G ethernet I will just put in an addon card. Really though I have not seen anything gaming wise that was compelling enough to make me upgrade my 7900X they still seem to perform pretty well in the benchmarks I have seen gaming wise, which is what I do like 90% of the time.

    Your board will be fine, VRM is more than capable :) It was designed with LN2 OC'ing in mind meaning stupidly high current while still being somewhat efficient.
