We have ASRock in the house with their new iteration of the Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming OC. A graphics card aimed at the WQHD (2560x1440) monitor range. A card armed with a triple fan-based cooler and ve... Review: ASRock Radeon RX 6700 XT Phantom Gaming D OC
ASRock did not fail to disappoint in naming scheme. Is it really an "OC" card when it has same TDP and has almost same power efficiency as reference which does not enable it to clock higher out of the box? By their logic, anyone who is capable to move max clock slider to right in Wattman can call such card "OC" without actually changing performance due to card still being power limited. Sometimes I feel like HH does waste his time on some products. If ASRock reads this: "Get your game together."
Exactly. By the way I went to a local Bitcoin meeting the other day just to see what's i t's about and I mentioned that gamers can't obtain graphics cards because of the Bitcoin craze and was told that they didn't care and making money comes first.
I see that its not worth an upgrade from 5700xt, especially when they are not available and if yes, then not with MSRP...
Still beats Sapphire and XFX in cooling, personally I dont think its a bad design, but ey, it's all personal right?
Yeah this shortage will take another year and Ive already played all old games I wanted to play so I did not play a game for last 2 months. Maybe its a good thing, because Im 38 and games are getting worse and worse anyway. So they can stick the cards where the sun does not shine, thank you very much. And Im very sure Im not the only person on earth who made such a decission. Well played AMD and Nvidia, Enjoy the times when mining stops once again! Than the freakin meme image like |Nvidia pulled with the ship bringing the green containers, yeah... stick em where I already told you
Sadly I agree. Guess either the 7700xt or what ever it will be or a RX 6800 will be the upgrade for 5700xt peeps like me. That is if I can ever find a RX 6800 at MSRP.
I'm a bit disappointed I was expecting a bit more from the 6700XT, so yeah the 6800 makes more sense for me as well, especially as I'm running a 3440 x 1440 monitor now. My 5700XT is managing but it's knocked my average fps down by 15 - 20 against the previous 2560 x 1440 resolution.
