You talk about how this architecture is new and a possible step forward, then want a game tested that does not use more than one core?

Skyrim is a bad game to use as a measuring stick. It's almost as bad a testing with any assassin's creed game.

I did not know , I am not a gamer, I'm 30 and only games I played till today are World of tanks(used max 2 threads) and latly Rainbow six siege and onlly with this game I learned about Discord and game recording (in WOT it's different, game reply is special file -few MB and not Video).

Hope we can see Ryzen 7 1700 with B350 MB + OC.

I'm interested in seeing if the New Win10 Gamemode would make it better or worse.

I tried the Gamemode on insider preview on I3 6100/12GB ram with RX470 4GB, Rainbow six siege was unplayable, game froze every 2 sec, dropped to 1 FPS and was freezing for 3 sec.

It broke the game, after disabeling and restarting the game all good.

    I guess 4 cores just aren't enough anymore? Haven't played BF1 on 4 cores so wouldn't know.

I guess Hilbert wont see this middle of all these comments but he REALLY should add frametime graph, lowest fps etc to these tests.
    Average fps doesnt tell much.

Game tests should be done like it was GPU test, just with low settings.

Honestly at this point the 1700 plain normal version is looking very, very appealing...More than good enough gaming performance (what's with all the 'oh no, the 8 core CPU is slightly not as good as Intel's frequency behemoths in gaming but still pretty good', do people not realise when they've been thrown a lifeline :D) with a bunch of i7 kicking grunt for photo/video stuff/productivity/blahblah...It's seems like what Bulldozer should have been, instead of the slow, power hungry mess it was.

No quad channel is a shame, but I guess AMD made the choices to give us as much oomph as they could for as little as they could, and quad channel complicates things, still a shame though, that said what is with DDR4 prices atm, uugh! 24 PCIe 3 lanes is a non-issue for 99% and another understandable area to cut.

Great reviews on this site for Ryzen Hilbert, I actually bothered to make an account as without Ryzen the CPU market was basically just Intel doing horrible, terrible things to us :p

    Welcome back AMD!

Why is there no Ryzen 1700 review? One would think it's a more important review than the 1700x. It's such a different part with the 65w TDP, I figured it would be more of a priority than the 1700x.

Do these Ryzen processors step down in clock speed when not in use? My 4770K will go down to like 800Mhz when I'm not using it, and be icy cold. Do the Ryzen processors do the same thing?
