I love how it went from :

The x70 and x80 cards are too expensive i'll settle for a x60 card around the 560 years.
To the x80 cards are too expensive i'll settle for a x70 card around the 970 years.
To today my god x60 and x70 cards are way too expensive i guess at this point i'll pay the extra for a x80 card ...

When you compare to the 5700XT, which has the same core count and lower frequency, it's surprising to me how the 6700XT uses less power, while also being noticeably faster.

    Agree, mediocre card, overpriced.
    End of story.

    Thanks for the review though.

PS: Looks like we have a very greedy transformation for AMD , supported by fanatics ofc.

Crypto miners are indeed the worst fanatics the PC world has ever seen, that's for sure. It's easy to be a fanatic if you make profit, after all.

Wondering if Guru3D will try to turn those reviews into videos at some point, feels like it would open up to a whole new public.

I think we cannot judge a card by MSRP now, and badges cannot be attached based on MSRP which is an illusion. Looking at BB, only the eVGA RTX 3060 is priced closest to MSRP at 390USD. The rest, two PNY and one MSI are priced at 500USD. An RTX 3060 at 500USD is definitely NOT a good deal, and shouldn't receive a badge.....anywhere. IF the reference RX 6700 XT's by AMD, not talking about AIB's, are sold at 479USD, then they present a better value in terms of price/performance. I see TPU gave it an 'Editor's Choice' award for the Reference AMD model.

Card is severly cut down from 6800 so no wonder its not even close despite high clocks but 30% faster than 5700xt is no slouch. 192bit bus also hinders the performance. The card landed exactly where we though it will.

It all ends up do you consider dlss to be the future or 12gb vram will come in handy soon but yeah availability will play the biggest role.

My $500 2070s smashes this card with DLSS. It's especially true with Cyberpunk 2077 as DLSS looks 99.99% as good as with it off if you run quality mode.

@Hilbert Hagedoorn The review page no 12 has an mistake which needs to be corrected as bechmarks for 4k are missing and you have used same WQHD benchmarks which are doubled.

    My 5700xt OC's to 2,15ghz @1,1V. I think GPU power was 180W at most.

4% faster than the 3060Ti average (between those 4 reviews) is a joke, this should have been $400 tops.

But MSRP doesn't exist anyways, but I really hope nobody pays more for this than for a scalped 3060Ti/3070, there is no reason to do that lol

I'd take it in a heartbeat at 500eur

with reBAR enabled 6700xt is 1.25x faster at qhd

6700xt vs 2070 Super is no contest imo.AMD wins hands down.2070 Super is still very good tho.

it's no 3070 though,as some expected.Far from it,given not only the raster performance but other features too.

I'd take both 3070 and 3060ti over 6700xt but vs. nvidia's last gen 2070S 6700xt is a better choice.Against 2080 Super -I'd prolly take the rtx and trade 5-10% raster performance for the huge return of dlss.

Yeah, good point, this might just be a 2021 blip though, so you might instead want to put hardware purchasing in 2021 on hold and just keep on using your existing card....2022 might be the year to get a GPU at sensible pricing. I'm in a queue for a 3080 which I bought for just a little over MRSP, but I have a feeling the reseller is gonna be giving refunds in a few months rather than being able to honour delivery of the 3080. I'm not gonna buy a 3080 or any other card for elevated prices, if my queued 3080 falls through (or if it transpires it's not available until after the Summer) then I'm just gonna hold onto my GTX 1070 until prices & availability return to normal - the current climate of GPU hardware is frankly ridiculous, and people really shouldn't be buying these cards at the elevated prices, it's ridiculous.

Oof... this isn't great :/ Well.. I'll only go for the card if I can get it at reference prices (so trying my luck buying direct from AMD) but if not.... Another year or two with the Fury.... Really sad times these prices...

I get over 90FPS at 1440p with DLSS(NO RT) in Cyberpunk 2077. That's 2x the performance for the same price on a previous gen card. As DLSS becomes more widely supported and gets better at doing it's thing it basically shames all AMD cards. Though maybe AMD can pull the rabbit out of it's hat with their "DLSS" equivalent.

How is the performance of this card in a clock for clock comparison with the 5700XT?

Thanks Mr Hilbert for this review. :)

Ok,this card do not have nvRT,Dlss, lot of Rgb and is "ugly, overpriced, not make cookies",but heck, where to find one under, lets say, 600 euros? (because of these times)

Ofc,every nVidia card with Dlss (upscale lower-resolution images to a higher-resolution for display on higher-resolution computer monitors) will sky-rocketing anything but not Image Quality. :)
