Sony has just revealed a new exclusive trailer for the PC version of the highly-anticipated game Returnal and has also confirmed the game's release date on Steam and the Epic Games Store.... Returnal Coming to PC in February with DLSS and FSR support; PC Requirements revealed
What an amazing game, this deserves the PC treatment. It is amazing on PS5, can only imagine it on PC. It is a hard game without a doubt but so rewarding at the same time. Elden Ring meet 3D Rouge like bullet hell! An awesome experience.
I get amping the GPU as resolution and details scale up .... But the CPU too by that much always targeting 60fps ... Ok particles with extra psychics maybe more busy wild life ???
I have a feeling the reason they are listing these requirements so high is that they are not using DLSS\FSR, which people are about to find out you now need to use.
You're saying XeSS is pretty CPU intensive? I assume that's for non Intel cards considering it's processed/is completely different on an Intel card?
It works on non-Intel cards in a much less efficient manner than it does on the A700 series. It's basically an inferior version that not just looks worse, but runs a lot worse. But it's better than nothing and it'll likely improve over time. Regardless, I just want to see all the options available in games. The GPU market is such a clown fiesta's dumpster fire that even Intel entering it with sub par products is a welcome change.
From the few examples I've seen, XeSS on Arc looks significantly better. I'd say DLSS is still half a step up but XeSS on Arc is still comparable to FSR2/DLSS2. That, and you know, on Arc it actually performs which is much of the point.
Good, on PS5 game is unplayable for me due to the rogue-like nature, I hate with a passion. Pc Version + trainer and I am in, cause gunplay is great.
I fear what will come on pc on UE5 will be just unoptimized PS5 ports, i'm sure devs can do much better than this
Well here is hoping my GTX 1050 Ti can handle the game at minimum , GTX 1060 minimum does not seem quite right.
Honestly if they sold them dirt cheap (which I don't think they can, they spent way too much on the pointlessly elaborate construction of those reference models), I would have considered selling my 3080 and downgrading to an A770 for the lulz, while I became a hermit and waited for video cards that don't cost as much as used cars used to before the coof.
Looks like a game version of Edge of Tomorrow. Not too impressed by that trailer though, looks pretty but that gameplay looks repetitive as hell.
