Hi. I have a question about Control game. Restarting DLSS giving me 4 fps boost. DLSS 960P with RTX HIGH,and standing on the same place i have 108 fps. Then i swtich to 1440P ( NO DLSS ) and have 72 fps. Then i go again to DLSS ( 960P) and have 112fps. IS this game issue not hardware? I dont have any crashing and no artifacts. Using newest drivers. Just DLSS->NO DLSS-> and DLSS and 4 fps more. I have Gigabyte Rtx 3090 OC ( stock ) and 10850K stock ,32gb ram.
I was mean that i am standing on the same place in game. Just resetting DLSS giving me 4 more fps. for example standing on the same place in game. I have 1440P ( no DLSS ) and 72fps. Then i go to DLSS 960P and have 103fps. Then again to 1440P ( no DLSS ) and again to DLSS 960P and then i have 107fps. weird
I would expect 2000$ gpu doing better than 1440p dlss (960p lol). I guess native 4k would do no more than 30fps.
Sorry my english is just bad. Performance is fine for me. But just curious why going two times to DLSS giving me 4 more fps than before. ( standing in the same place )
I barely break 70s @ 2560x1080 with DLSS to 960p with a 3080, I'm pretty sure it's a game bug since I rarely max out anything... I'm pretty sure it's bad code on the foggy effects near the Fast Travel things... also the game has issues with DLSS not sticking or not actually turning on, and I have to window the game, turn off the option, then go back full screen again makes me think game problems rather than HW... since everything else runs pretty amazing on my Zen3/Ampere build
Pretty sure disabling and re enabling while standing in the same spot would unload the image reconstruction, and reload it. Once you start moving and some more things come into view, its gonna get slightly slower as a little more will come into view that needs to be reconstructed.
Yeap this. Ideal answer. Anyway its fine and i am happy with performance. Thanks again for helping. Game runs with DLSS and looking gorgeous
are you by any chance the intel/nvidia smearing chief of this site ? nice hobby dude I wonder what amd can do at 1440p rtx on there 3090 rtx on dlss is as fast as rtx off native, what a disappointment.
