So are we gonna be able to enable resizable bar this week?
some motherboard manufacturers are simply silent on this matter, please sign this petition if you are on a z390.
Waiting on VBIOS and a certified driver, although the 461.40 does show indications of whether it's enabled or not.
Took them a while, but Gigabyte finally added it to some of their Z390 boards, best to check the page on their website for BIOS updates.
yeah i have asus unfortunately (in this case lol) so i am pissed.
And this is WHY I just picked MSI z390 gaming edge instead some TUF.
Good board btw, nice combo with 8086k@5ghz and 2*16Gb ram(3800c14 atm)
Well I got it on my motherboard and its listed in the driver. What else do we need to enable it?
a new vbios from my understanding.
Look above at post #3, we need vendor VBIOSes
I checked with the Vendor they say its already in the bios (works in linux) but its a driver issue from Nvidia so someones telling lies
you have an asus tuf 3080?
evga for mine says not till march.
it was always march for anything other than the 3060.
So a new bios for gpu too?
NaughtyVidia getting horny again as always ridiculously locking this feature only for rtx 3000 series however this thing can easily be adapted with a simple software update for older GPUs... buy my gpus give me more more more $$$ ... yeah i ll give you my finger
I'm hoping some tech-wizard will make an app to somehow hack gpu bios.
Mobo bios, driver and GPU bios needed for a feature that's been sitting unused for over 10 years.
I'm excited to be living in the future guys.
First time i seen the size of nvme drives in real life was last time i got excited about hardware, but sure hoping for this feature!
*I was also blown away by intel iris graphics on my 10th gen-laptop (i7 1065g7).
Yeah same. I kid about it being late to the game as a feature but its really gonna be great to see what the devs especially will do with the extra juice.
I could of sworn that I read somewhere a month ago that the feature would be enabled with the launch drivers for the 3060.
Will contact Asrock for my z370, they gave it to someone on reddit as a personal bios but didnt release publically.
