1GB Vram usage in 4K.
Revelations 2 was patched, might improve the issue with sudden framerate drops and stuttering but we'll know when or if Capcom posts the actual changelog.
I played in 4k too. Looks so so bad damn.
But game controls etc all good. What a third person survival should be.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 Reshade Preset
Here's a Reshade Preset I made for Revelations 2
Picked up the game for under £15 from GamesPlanet.com yesterday morning (some 26% less than the Steam price) and played about two-thirds of the first episode (Barry and Natalia bit). Quite enjoyed it (on Normal difficulty) even though the visuals are very dated and using DX9 and FXAA (how disappointing that Capcom's MT Framework titles have gone from being cutting edge DX10/DX11 engines with tessellation and MSAA support to being DX9 only over the years).
Maxed out at 1920x1200, the game runs mostly at 60 fps but surprisingly there are framerate dips to the low 40s fps for no apparent reason. Given the flat-looking, low-res textures, the low-poly counts, basic lighting and use of FXAA, I am surprised this game is not running at a locked 60 fps on my system. Judging by the videos I've seen of Digital Foundry's framerate analysis of the Xbox One and PS4 version, those versions (especially the former) seem to run as well yet look identical!!! Something is surely wrong there given how weak both their CPUs and GPUs are? I can't help but wonder if it is the lack of DX11/64-bit support in the PC build that is the problem here; the console versions will almost certainly be 64-bit and using DX10+ (or equivalent).
I can't play revelations 2.
It closes itself when I pause the game. I read online I need to change some settings but I can't even get to the settings menu, it crashes before hand...
Revelations 2 was updated again.
Couldn't find the patch notes but I found out they also started a open beta test for adding back local co-op.
Hmm, stumped here, im either missing something, or its borked.
Ive got both Emblems for the gates under the stairs now in the main house, but only one will go in, everytime i try to pop the other one in, it just says its not necessary.
Im missing something, aren't i ? EDIT: Yup, i am, no frame, don't know how i missed that
The third episode doesn't run as smooth as the previous two episodes. Also, if you play the third episode, you will remember the movie ''Saw''. Maybe the devs were watching that movie when they were making this episode
Don't know why i didn't pick up on that the first time she mentions a waterfall
I knew it!, i ******* knew it!
Barry!!, the ****! :mad4:
At last, i got the frame
A bit late sorry. But there is already a thread for RE:REv2 - http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=396513C
Gah!, think im at the end now, the big dude kicked me ass at the heliport
anyone can do a sweetfx preset for resident evil 5 gold and eliminate green tone
REmake sales hit 1mil.
I really need to get this finished off
Can SweetFX help this game look and run better?
Depends what you want to acheive with sweetfx and the game. I personally just used sweetfx to fix the brightness/contrast and used a bit of fxaa in tandem with aa via inspector.
Theres lots of presets over at sfx.thelazy.net
Got Revelations 2 for my birthday.
I'm really liking it. I'm almost finished with Episode 4... but this is the most I've enjoyed an RE game since RE4.
