I finished in 9. I usually explore in the beginning but get bored of reading all the files later in the game. I'd rather the game play the story for me in a way like Bioshock rather than having to stop what I'm doing to read a wall of text.

Yeah played with that....made it really washed out because I had to up the brightness on the other colour setting....back to standard with brightness at 1....made it quite dark but I quite like it like that.

So yeah Textures at Medium, Cache off, SSAO (cant run HBSO...seems to be rather intensive), Shadows on High....everything else Max....getting 35-45 fps at 1440p....almost no chop...maybe a little stutter on entering a intensive scene.

I can live with that :)...but maybe time for an upgrade soon

Anyone played with Interlaced vs Normal rendering....does image quality change that much??

It's short... if you pretty much rush through it.
Of me and the two friends I have on STEAM that played it, I took the longest to finish it.

It took me a little over 11 hours, my friends each finished it in 10 and 8.
And that's in game time according to the Stats screen.

There's plenty of game here if you go into it ready to really soak in the atmosphere. And, it's not a one and done game. All three of us are replaying and exploring and searching.

Interlaced can give a pretty hefty performance increase. But, it can cause some shimmering and added blur to the image.
I tried it out very briefly, but dropped it simply because when combined with the AA options in game... meh.

If you need the extra frame rate... it could be worth it.

Some spooky shizle lol., Im only in the upper part of first house and its already too freaksih for me at 2am, all those sounds and shadows.. I had to quit xD

Although it runs fine "max'ed" with 376.09 same as demo.
Im dsr'ing 2880x1620p, smaa, rest enabled or v.high, including shadow cache, only reflections - variable,. and vram was usually 5100 up to 6100MB, system ram only up to 4.9GB.

Could anyone recommend a video card upgrade because I can only run this game with medium settings and I have 8gb of G.Skill 1600Mhz DDR3 but my Asus R280 doesn't have 5.1 shader support barring me from upping my graphics to at least high.

It looks great... I started playing on my old TN 16:9 1080p monitor last night, but was too tired and went to sleep...
    I use HxD

Tried doing that 21:9 fix but my exe isn't launching afterwards. I'm using the cheapskate version of RE7 though.

    I'm probably doing something wrong.
