Dual Shockers via Sankei Shimbun.
Nice, finally some proper gfx this time around
Please, please, PLEASE take it back to survival horror.
Inb4 mutantmonsters and hack&slash game.
COOP F2P game lol
Please Crapcom, just kill the franchise right now.
Resident Evil deserves to rest in peace.
God, RE6 is one of the worst games I've played in my life.
Look at that 7. Just look at it!
What? This one : EVI7 <----, i mean really? we're still doing this.
I didn't even notice that lol, I mean that giant hideous font for 7 they have going in the center. But yeah that too lol
'Capcpom' is on a streak with misspells, intentional or not. Not as good as Revelaitons of course.
Also would like this!
But in reality this!
i enjoyed 5 but after playing the demo of 6 and seeing reviews and gameplay i never played 6. so i dont care about 7 until they can prove the game is gonna be good
You may have enjoyed it but 5 was not Resident Evil. It was a action game, it's gone downhill after Resi 4 imo
I consider 4 to actually be the game where RE wasn't RE anymore. IMO (remember this is just my personal opinion) as a fan of the tank control-horror survival RE's, 4 opened the flood gates for what I think are some of the most horrible entrants to the Res Evil Franchise. Before RE 4, RE Survivor was my most hated RE experience.
*Actually didn't some Head at Capcom claim they would be taking RE back to its Survival horror roots? Gotta find that article...*

I grabbed RE5 the day it came out for my 360. I'm a huge RE fan and loved RE4.
And, I didn't finish it.
It wasn't until I got the game on Steam during a sale that I actually played the entire thing.
But, while it's a fine action game, it's not a good Resident Evil game. The game has absolutely no horror aspects to it, there's no suspense or tension.
And while the visuals are great and the game has a fantastic cinematic look to it, overall I just didn't really enjoy it.
I mean, Chris is probably my least liked character in the series. And the fact that they made him look so... goofy. He's so muscled up and huge, yet he's got a tiny little head.
Then... the punching a rock QTE... just... wow.
And, going off that I didn't buy RE6 right off.
It wasn't until (again) I got it gifted to me through Steam that I finally played it.
And, this time I excited to see Leon back, classic zombies back... darker looking settings and atmosphere.
But, then I get into the game and find out... the visuals are a step back from RE5. The gameplay is stiff and sluggish. And even though you can move and shoot, the combat still feels worse then in the previous games.
Add in an absolutely horrible story...
The only positive I could think of was that the game has plenty of content. But, given the game isn't really any good... it's actually a negative.
Those are no punches. Chris' love interest are boulders, and he's fisting them.
It's because how the character turns in full uninterrupted motion instead of strafe when you press left or right move outside of aiming.
Combine that with mostly small area of RE6 (because that same control actually works fine in say, game like Warframe where you dart around huge open areas) and even the basic movement feels very very very clunky.
Then introduce the stupid ass floor slide-dodge system to the mix for more clunkiness.
Add in how horribly they introduce gameplay mechanics.
I didn't even know you could run or do the floor slide thing until I was several hours into Leon's campaign.
Then I hit the button by mistake. Then, about an hour later the game pops up a message "Press button to run".... I sat there like... :3eyes:
I wish they would stop making new RE games. Remake resident evil 1, 2, and 3 for PC please.
Don't forget Code Veronica.
