LMFAO at those screenshots.. I'll admit that graphics in the game is not everything.. in fact, I'lll take a better framerate and pee all over aa and af, but those screenshots are utterly hillarious. Resident Evil 1 looked better than this.. this screenshot of the character in the forest looks liks some sort of abstract painting you'd see in a museum that was done by a dude on meth.. I dunno what to say.. my excitement for this game is now in limbo..
Yeah, I am just going to a local gamespot and getting a used RE4 for the PS2 and play it will a emulator....That fixes the problem...crudely
Lol at everyone ragging the graphics! In anticipation of BioShock I'm currently playing System Shock 2. Now that is an amazing game. @ScoobyDooby: RE1 looks better than that screeny hey.....
if they sorted out somwe lighting effects for the u.k rlease ior added them in a patch i might consider trying it , but i completed it on the cube so i aint sure its worth it
Um yes it does easily. Now not nothing like a todays computer game can put out it looks better but not up to computers standards
it seems nobody viewed teh screenies i provided in teh first post hehe, the PC version has sharper edges and somehow more detailed but the lighting and bloom and some other special effects are absent, making it less creepy, and renders the flashlight almost useless since everything is lit already.
But it has no shading or dynamic lighting, and is completely ruined because of this. Console version wins. Fatality.
The Game Cube version looks like its been run on either a LCD TV or a Monitor ! It looks like an upscaled picture... It looks totally different on my CRT TV ! But I'm guessing the PC version loses it's enviornmental feel with it's clear and neat lines all around , things feel empty that ways.. I just saying the GC version felt very heavy and dense , dont know if the PC version feels the same...
textures are slightly sharper in the pc version , but all the effects its missing will ruin the game i think
I think it is slightly upscaled to match the res of the PC shot. It looks like it's been captured from a composite video source, bit too fuzzy.
The PC version just looks like it got all the color and life drained out of it. It may be sharper, but it just looks so bland.
Yeah , they should've atleast added effects and more life with colors atleast...lol It's 2007 and damn bringing a Great title back to life in a bland and empty fashion is a bland idea...
