i can't seem to switch my refresh rate to 60hz.

i'll pick 60hz and apply it but it doesn't switch. it just stays at 59hz.

i know there can't be very much difference between 59 and 60hz but it's just damn annoying!

    50hz worked fine before.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers many many times.

other refresh rates supported by my monitor work fine.

Please specify which drivers you are using. Are you using CCC to change these settings? Do you use driver sweeper after uninstalling the drivers? Have you tried TWL's Genetix Modified drivers?

this has been an ongoing problem. right now i have the latest drivers but it's been doing this for a while including past drivers.

i've tried changing it with ccc and through display advance settings.

i have tried using driver sweeper and i'd rather not use mod drivers.

What monitor are you using ?

    - try check what it tell you in the OSD of your monitor... try follow the upper for see what is set on the monitor driver.

Had a similar issue back in a day with 4870 X2... Afaik, not even a display driver-editing helped, it was gone only after clean reinstall...

Unless I'm mistaken, Nvidia has this ongoing problem also. They've fixed the issue with the latest beta drivers, unless it was for specific monitors, not sure.

    I have a Samsung 2443BW.
