The score of a benchmark doesn't really mean anything at all. It's how it works for you. If you can't play 3d games, time to upgrade your card. A benchmark usually stresses the system and uses the highest settings available to put your computer at it's limits. If you're able to play games fine, don't even bother with the benchmarks. . .they'll probably just depress you. lol

By the way, you don't have your VC overclocked do you? Cuz if you did, I'd probably say that's where your problem lies, and that's what's causing the reboot. What OS are you using? And what DirectX drivers?

ok, here is what I recomend, download 12.90's or 14.70's
grab detonator destroyer. assuming you don't know the specifics there are some articles on the main page on how to change drivers.
I didn't like the 21.85 drivers at all. keep an eye on the detonator drivers section to see who has what happen. with todays releases.
red faction ran fine on my 12.90's
detonator destroyer is important cuz it'll clean out all the driver remnants. Sounds like that is part of your problem.

thanks chaps for your reply's and advice. the benchmark query was purley that...a query, as a very good point made, if it works then why worry about score's on a benchmark its just something i find interesting.
btw-i am using 98se with direct driver 4.13.01.2080.
thanks also for the vc driver advice i will try it out but i will try 2080 first as i have not yet done so...you never know they might work for me once again thanks for replys.
