CANNOT SEE RED DRAGON FIRMWARE from Powercolor....but from Techpower !!!

Do not update unless AVAILABLE from the manufacturer's website!
IF POSSIBLE go to that shop you purchased(or email Powercolor and ask)..and explain to them (do also explain why THERE's the NEED to flash this new BIOS!!) - don't do anything by yourself if you are unsure of what you are doing.......do not follow guides pasted everywhere as they are not specific to a "one case" scenario....

The flashing is twice [one for normal clock mode and the other for boost mode]...so be careful........May be you have read the pdf....(right_sl and left_sl)...

Thanks that's why i never done it.
Just on the guide it says "download" under the RED DRAGON version (the reason i bought it tbh because it said it was capable in this list)

I have emailed Powercolor to ask what i should do ill just stay with the base clocks that it came with for now i guess until someone can confirm :(

    Thank you for your help.

    --UPDATE--
I just came across this page on POWERCOLOR:
    https://www.powercolor.com/new?id=1579588862

Im assuming you use the RED DEVIL BIOS?

Still isn't the clocks Im expecting tho.

I also emailed them. In the video for the updating the Red Devil's BIOS on YT you can see the link to the Red Dragon's BIOS but it was removed. Hopefully it's because of some code errors that needed to be fixed and not pulling the RD from the update like the basic 5600.

Can easy push the card to MEM @ 1860Mhz and GPU @ 1750Mhz no problems.

    Hello There.

I might need a bit of help here, i Bought a new System with Ryzen 5 3600x, Msi Tomahawk Max b450, Red Dragon 5600XT and 16gb 3200 Gskill ram.
Since i bought this setup i wanted to flash my GPU Bios, but i have no idea how to do it. The Guides make no sence in my head and i wanted to know if someone here could help me through the steps?
I tried to make a 32gb Flash drive to a Fat32 Dos, to put over the flash bios but my Motherboard cant seem to find the Rom File.

Any idea how i can proceed? Thank you in advance :)

    • Build a DOS bootable USB driver by step in this video :
    • You need to download a program 'rufus' from this website rufus.akeo.ie
    [IMG]
    • Then decompress file and copy DOS flash utility and bios image file in directory \dosfile to USB driver , and boot to real DOS mode .
    • Download BIOS here: https://www.powercolor.com/download?type=1492658578&id=1579578421 (check model)
    • When booted, type ‘left_OC’ and press ‘enter’ key, to run flash utility and update OC bios image to display card . (gpu switch should be on OC mode)
    • Then reboot system , display card will work with new bios image .
    • Optional step : update silent mode bios image
    • Please power off system and change bios SW from left side (near bracket ) to right side( near PCIE power connector ) ,
    • then boot with USB driver , and type ‘right_sl’ and press ‘enter’ key, to run flash utility and update Silent bios image to display card .
    • then you could select OC mode or Slient mode by change setting of bios SW .
