yea sounds great be realyl great if it was single player thing i could mod and play and not be bothered with their trying to squeeze me for $$$$$.

i will get the game but like gta5 i will not touch online 2k can suck it, i will probably put it offline mode and just run tons of mods and skrew the online garbage and cheat as my hearts desire, mod a black horsie in to start the game.

I read about the hands empty option. So in first person mode when you holster your weapon with the hands empty option does anyone know if you can lower your hands too? Or do your hands always appear on the screen?

Because it would just look weird to have two empty hands sticking up from the bottom of the screen almost everywhere you go when your weapon or item is not in use. And people asking you "are you ok sir?" Well I mean they would ask you that in real life if you held your hands halfway up like that. Also it would kind of spoil the view when touring around in first person exploration.

150GB, because 1% of the world uses 4K monitors?

Why not add a 1080p download without 4K textures, the game might 65GB then.

They could have the 4k textures as a downloadable "dlc", like some other games do. But let's face it, they won't do that...

That would require them to actually do something, rather than just port the game and hope PC grunts fixes a lot of stuff, but slap me with a wet fish and call me Susan at the weekends if the PC version when release is not a broken buggy mess, like the console versions.

Sooo Special Edition if all you care about is single player and Ultimate if you are going to play more online.

They are visible when you're in combat mode - like if somebody already hit you (melee or weapons).

Then there's the 'half aggressive stance' when somebody is about to melee you or called you out in an agressive manner (yes, the game has microaggressions LOL). In that situation you can see your hands half way up but only in 3rd person i believe (not sure).

If you just take a walk or while shopping your hands are not visible.

It actually feels like RL and the animations are perfectly done.

I went with the ultimate edition since the online mode has begun being more interesting with the last role-playing update. Plus you have the 'defensive' player option now which signals everybody you're a SP story / coop player who won't shoot ppl on sight. They can't lock on to you with autoaim - which won't make a difference on pc though - and the damage you get from the first hits is greatly reduced so no quick easy kills for non defensive players.

RDRO is just starting to become good actually. Lots of random encounters now too, it felt a lot like SP.
    I'd give online a chance.

    I am hopping for Vulkan.
Which would make sense, since, the game works on Windows 7 and it will have a Google Stadia Release.

I'm hoping the whopping storage requirements is because of uncompressed assets and not horrible, low res bulky Bink movie files! (GTA wasn't, hoping this won't be either).

Do you know if they will allow private servers for online?

You're joking, right? R* won't even allow solo play for RDO.

There are private servers for GTA V...

I'm not asking for solo play, rather private servers so you choose who you play with and the server settings/rules etc.

I understand what you're asking. Since there is not even a solo or private crew play as it also was in GTA5, I'm pretty sure there won't be any "legal" private servers. Unless somebody mods this to pieces and finds a way how to do it against R*'s will.

Considering how terribly monetized the RDO is and that it is completely new title on PC, R* will want to milk it as much as possible. Releasing this anytime soon after the initial RDO release could start pretty nasty lawsuit.
