That's gotta be a troll statement, right? Regardless, your customer service skills need some work.
I find it rather ironic some of your first posts here were criticising dr_rus for never being helpful and always being condescending.
Takes one to know one I guess. I've often suspected you two are the same person actually.
Anyhow enjoy the rest of your life in that bubble of yours.
For me this game runs without hitch with HAGS disabled (using dx12 api), gonna keep it disabled from now on.
Amusingly you'd be spoken to the exact same way by a course professor in a lecture.
My callouts of Rus were for specific topics he was wrong about.
I think the story is very good. But it does drag on quite a bit in the middle section.
As for world events repeating, for me at least the only ones that repeat so far, are the ones I ignore. So they keep popping up when I return to the same area.
Headshots can be annoying at times as the auto-aim goes for the center of the body so you have to flick the stick up as you shoot.
Anyone knows if its on sale somewhere? asking for a friend
Your friend missed the biggest discount so far. Ended last week.
GMG still has it 40% off ($36).
I got it for £36, ultimate edition, off kinguin.
I hope you used the coupon ALLKEYSHOP8 for an 8% discount. (if you really paid £36 i guess you didnt )
Personally i would never give this company in Hong Kong (kinguin & g2play) any money, because their system is really shady.
"Normal" Edition is 33€ btw. elsewhere, but there. (cdkeys.com for example)
Looks like the AMD folks on Linux are finally having some luck with the latest RDR2 update.
Though I wish we didn't have to wait and go through all the trouble.
Std. Edition ~30 € for Rockstar Launcher CDKeys
For me I'd say that Vulkan runs best. I tried DX12 since I wanted to play with HDR but unfortunately my TV isn't exactly up to par. What I noticed however is that DX12 used less resources than Vulkan meaning clockspeeds were on average lower (I was running the game at 4K/60fps). They did increase/decrease from time to time which, in my case, could account for the occasional stutter. Using Vulkan the game ran at a constant boost and thus had a flat frame time graph meaning no stutter whatsoever.
Vulkan does better on Ampere for sure.
I'll give vulcan a try a somepoint but since i changed my gpu bios i got a nice boost that smoothed things out great for me.
Still not hooked tbh, just made it to Valentine.
Vulcan better for me, gonna re-enable HAGS now and see how we fare.
Slowly starting to get hooked.
Are you playing the game for the first time? If so you're in for one hell of an experience.
Yes, i left the pc scene for few years, got by on switch mostly, best thing is it's totally polished at this point.
It's very polished and is one of Rockstar's masterpiece's. Enjoy it because since Dan Houser left the company there will never be anything like it again.
Finished the main game and the two epilogues, very satisfied with the ending.
Had good fun, ran very well.
