    Hi guys,

    Im about to upgrade my r5 1600x to a r9 3900x.

My budget on CPU and MB is around 800-900 euro.

The 3900x will cost 529€ , 250-300 euro for MB.

Could you guys help me out to find a good one.

So you think the gigabyte would be the best recommendation?

Asus rog strix no2 is very good too, on 2nd look I see it has 50A, not 40A like by Gigabyte, but then again it uses different.

Also asus has better UEFI then gigabyte. Im now more of a Asus fan, before that I had 2-3 gigabyte mobos, but that was still old bios LGA775 era.

What would that 10A be as for a difference? would it be noticeable or in any kind of way better?

Tbh i do not care that much about noise, since i use a Headset and i got a Vega 64.

I think the V64 is loud enough xD.

Well well my new Mainboard arrived.
But unfortunatly my CPU will may come next week/month.
So im asking myself if i should already swap my MB, reinstall win10 and put my 1600x on it or wait the new CPU and do the fresh install.

More expensive one has WIFI (chips/ports added), cheaper has no WIFI, and also 3 extra latest USB3.2 ports instead of older USB3.1 ports on cheaper.

I had gotten my 3900X last month, but had to wait till I get back home to my home country to decide on an X570 mobo. I got home yesterday, and immediately headed to the local tech mall to look for a suitable mobo, it was a toss-up between the RoG Crosshair VIII Formula and the Aorus X570 Xtreme, I chose the latter for not having a fan to cool the chipset, it IS rather weighty though....

Edit - ........NOT that I'm recommending it though, just that the thought of the chipset cooler fan failing on me is troubling at best.
