With GTA:SA coming out soon Im looking to get a gamepad for the PC. Preferably with full analog control and good reliability. How are Logitech's pads?

    I have this

it's a lil big so if you have small hands you might not like it, but the shape is nice and I don't get any had cramps like with the current console controllers. the anolog sticks are just how they should be not to tight not to loose and it was fairly cheap

    I have this Logitech pad:

And it does alright sometimes but they have had issues with this gamepad, the right analog stick is real buggy and I noticed it after awhile of gameplay it would not move anymore, so I would have to reboot my computer and recalibrate it.

I also used one of these and is way better than the Logitech one.

I might get the Nyko. Newegg customers seem to have enjoyed it. Good price too.

How do you think the analog would handle something like flying a chopper in BFV? I know it wont be anything close to a flight stick but having a decent alternative would be nice.

I was considering a USB adapter for a PS2 Dual Shock pad but I was a little wary of their reliability and compatibility. Whats the best brand to look for? Is it programmable through software or just plug and play? How's the analog control, is it always true analog? Appreciate any info.

What I've heard about he adapters have been nothing but good things.

As far as these types of controllers go, I can't stand concave D-pads. They just don't feel right and are too unresponsive to the point where they hurt your thumb.

You play FPS with a controller? *shivers*

    Use a mouse/keyboard and you'll be a lot happier with BF:VN.

I think he wants it just for flying but controllers don't seem to work to well atleast not for planes, the choppers do ok though, but I just use the keyboard

Yeah I was thinking of using the pad for the BFV choppers since I cant control them for crap with a keyboard as it is. ;) Of course I use a mouse for FPS'.

It even took me a while to figure out how to fly a helicopter.

It's odd... It's like flying them for real... push forward on the mouse and you'll tip the nose forward... go too far, you'll crash into the ground.

Once you get the hang of you, you'll be doing flips, flying 2" above the water, running people over.

    It's awesome. Lol

    I use one of these.

It may look cheap, but it lets me use two PS2 controllers fully. I've had it for a couple of years now without problems.
