    hi guys

last week i bought a Gigabyte X48-DQ6 mobo, and everything works great except the sound card.
at first i thought that the sound card itself has a problem but today i found out the sound card is working but the ANALOG BACK PANEL is not activated (see pictures). i tried to find a way to activate it but i couldnt find one...
front panel also is not working (see pictures).
what should i do? i want to get sound from my analog back panel and front panel :3eyes:

i asked in other forums and no one even replied !!! i hope here i can get help.

here is 2 pictures that i thought MAYBE can help u figure out what is going on.

on the realtek HD control panel, click where it says " device advanced settings " and check the box that says " disable front panel audio " hit ok to accept try the audio again.

do you have the newest drivers installed, and the speakers plugged into the proper jack for it to be detected?

Ok here is a dumb idea.Did vista support the HD audio output out of box or you need to install an update like on XP? I have XP so i can't test the vista.
