Lets remember these graphs are from a beta version of the card. So what we see with rev 3 maybe totally different. We can only hope they fixed all the problems they ran into with rev 1 and 2 of the 480.

No one has their hands on a 470 or 480 so we are still in the dark as to how good or bad it will be and if it will be priced in reason or over the top.

That's irrelevant to my post ... But no, the heaven bench "graph" is a test of the final version. Of course, not the final drivers ...

Well, it will certainly achieve what i said in my post. The only thing I'm uncertain of, that can have some negative impact, is the price. But I expect it to be priced appropriately, with a competition's product prices in mind.

ofcourse they will buy it and I personally understand this as I was also an nvidia fan:biggun:untill I bought the ATI 1950 Pro (pressure from friends and guru's ofcourse:wanker::lmaa:) and realized that will blow my 7800 GS straight to the skyes.

    okay,

but just a idea:)it would be cool if nvidia could install a small green light/logo (like the red logo one from XFX Creative Fatality Gamer Pro Serie ), it would of bring a little more flavor:thumbup:to that hardware piece.

Yup! It got them a slight edge in performance over ATI with extreme levels of tessellation. I can't wait to get a GTX480 and try out all my super duper heavily tessellated games a whirl!

    Oh...wait...

I was listening to the PC perspective podcast and they were saying that nvidia is only going to release 5-10,000 gtx 480's?

I am sure Fermi will be a better performer but it looks as though its only going to be marginally better, and my guess is 399.99 for the gtx 470 and 599.99 for the gtx 480 msrp of course. Or maybe 299.99 and 699.99 but if there rare as hell then its fail. God only knows how much they would even bother supporting a product that only has so few out there, and if that is the case hopefully there second revision really goes much smoother for everyones sake.

I think they are going to release 5-10,000 of them now to see if people like them. If they do I guess they will be making more of them.:biggun:
