I remember I got into PS2 emulation a few years ago, early 2010 I think, and it was still running a bit slow. Nowadays they've apparently come quite far but you still need a good rig to play at a stable FPS.

I remember trying out N64 emulation years ago and it was god awful. The graphical glitches etc. Now N64 Emulation has come a long way.

    ^ does Goldeneye work now?

I remember running a N64 emulator but the only really playable game was Mario64 at the time.

Don't know but the game I was trying out at the time was Gauntlet.

But I had success with Castlevania64 as well as Mario 64. I bet Goldeneye works by now Project64 has come a long way over the years.

    rpcs3 purpose:
    - Make PS3 developers easily test their apps and homebrews on PC without crashing their PS3 or moving their apps from PC to PS3.
    - Just playing PS3 games on your PC and have fun! ( In the future )

Im not sure what your post is meaning?

As for my comment on games that i made, i was simply saying that soon, as in someday we'll be able to play sony exclusives with proper resolution and aa.

^ To hazard a guess, he means that games are an afterthought according to that.

Which is outlandish. I think the main reason people would get the emulator is to play games on it. Besides, it's the direction the development has been going to the whole time. So it's got to be something else.

Correct and it's absolutely nowhere near able to play anything you'd likely want a PS3 emulator for. Most games do nothing. Once spurs is implemented more games will advance but in all honesty have another look at it in a few years and I'm sure it will be a different picture ;)

I'm still kicking myself in the a$$ for selling my TurboGrafx-CD system, or better yet... the very rare TurboDuo which I also had.

Same here sold pc engine with about 30 games gunhead, r type, street fighter which was thicker than any other games on the pcengine, at the time I couldn't believe inside that tiny slim card was anything.

also it was never officially released in England.

I'd say 2 years for a good game to be playable the whole way.
