Thought i'd get a list of DVD players that allow the playing of the new RCE coded DVD's (Final Fantasy, etc).<br> <br> <b>SAMSUNG A511 </b> (note - this will require an engineers code enter via the remote control, but once done it works with ANY DVD - region 1 or 2).<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> Err. <b>Marantz DV-4200</b>- Very nice DVD/Mp3/Cd-player. Region-free through the same technique as on the Samsung. Bought it last week and I`m quite satisfied.

Most players are pretty RCE proof as I gather all you do is reprogram it to region 1 instead on all regions and it is no longer multi region. Just change it back after you finish.<br> <br> Chameleon.<br>
