    Hi,

I have a Razer Kraken Pro and to get directional 7.1 audio I installed their software Razer Surround, its not mindblowing but works ok and I love the deep bass it provides. I only have the onboard sound (VT2021).

In some games after ~15min I get a lock up and I hear a infinite "buzz", so I have to manual reset the PC. Happens on Windows 7 and 8.1.

The games that I refer: Battlefield 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Uninstalling razer surround completely fix the problem.

Someone have a similar experience and found a workaround? I don't wanna left this software but if I have to, do you guys know any alternative?

    Thanks in advance!

I been using it off and on and I never had it bsod on my, you try updating your onboard audio drivers. If so the best thing you could do if you still want virtual headphone, is to get a cheap sound card like a Xonar DG/DGX and use dolby headphone.
