From what i've seen game seems fun and looks good. I hope Horizon FW is the next one, come on Sony!

Ill be trying it on a 5400rpm WD Blue like most games (which do run fine sans loading time) and will definitely post back here! Unless there is a hard requirement or something for Directstorage.

 

Hope they don't screw up core utilization again on Zen 3, not fixed in Miles Morales as of today (runs like crap)...

 

Zen2 also performed badly. Going to zen4 i got 50-60% increase with the same gpu. RT was enabled maybe thats why.

 

This is one game that will look stunning on the PC. Looking forward to it.

 

RT probably just makes it more visible. Game probably runs faster on a Ryzen 5500 than on a 5800X3D, maximum level of dumbness...

They will definitely do the remake that will also be released on PC. I put my balls on the line.

 

I agree. It seems silly for Sony in particular to restrict their game releases to PlayStation when Microsoft is on the verge of the biggest gaming acquisition. Hardcore PC gamers will never buy a console no matter what, so you may as well get them to buy your games.

If they like money, they will release their games on PC. If they are smart, they should design a PlayStation store application for Windows so they can take the full 100% net profit rather than splitting it with Valve.

 

I wish they would bring The Last Guardian to pc... that looked really interesting.

 

I wonder what's the deal with Bloodborne, though. Elden Ring's massive success even among non-soulslike people should mean easy money for the company, since there's more potential buyers than before, when soulslikes were a niche market.

 

So far none is confirmed to be in the works. In their recent confirmed lineup all of the second party studios are busy with either new IPs or new entries within existing IPs.

 

I think it might be Bluepoint Games that could deal with the remake. After Demon's Souls I knew they were working on another ip but no details have been communicated about it. The hope that it will be Bloodborne is still on.
