Large die = more easy to cool :)

Rocketlake 11900k was actual easy too cool, compared to 10900k and 12900k :)

Big die on X299 cpu's is the main reason it's pretty easy to cool insane amount of "Watt". Ofcourse without the "bird poop" under the ihs :p

Makes sense that it's bigger. It uses the same 10nm process as Alder Lake but has an additional 8 cores. There doesn't seem any end in sight to new generations of processors being bigger and more power hungry.

    umm, from Intel you mean?
Intel's stuck with the 10nm power/heat equation, but not for long. depending on how Intel works its interposer, ML should be markedly lower in power/heat - far more than any Intel since Q6600

AMD is already lower in power/heat with more cores but its been at a smaller node (now even smaller)

The use of the word is uncommon in English, to describe length, but it is correct.
Usually it's used more as descriptive of extending time. But it can also be used for space or length.
The origin of the word is Latin, so it is also used in many other languages in Europe. Also, with the meaning of extending time, or space, or length.
