RadeonPro BETA (Automating 3D Settings)

Mass Effect 2 already has support for AA as far as I'm aware because I was previously just forcing it through a profile in ATI Tray Tools and it worked perfectly without needing the game executable to be renamed. I now have a profile in RadeonPro and, again, forced AA is working with the default MassEffect2.exe. I think ATI added support for it in an earlier driver (10.2 or 10.3).

 

If so ATI needs to start paying him some gold.

 

I finally got the Radeonpro support service to run:banana:. I found out that the problem was caused by the eventlog service not working properly. If anybody experiences similar issues go to C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\WMI and either delete or rename the folder RtBackup. In case you can't access that folder try Unlocker.

 

Support Service not running

Hey Japamd,

i´m very impressed of your nice program and tried it instantly, with no luck...

After i hit the Radeonpro.exe i get the message:

"RadeonPro Support Service is not running. Start now?"

After i hit Yes of course a new message appear:

"Error starting RadeonPro Suport Service."

So i tried to start the service manual with a massage:

The service "RadeonPro Support Service" on "Locale Computer" can not be started.
Error 2: The system can't find indicated file. (free translated out of German)

I´d love to use this program and ask for help imploringly.

Open a command prompt with admin rights and run
sc delete "RadeonPro Support Service"
then reinstall Radeonpro.

 

flickers when open ..and also uses one whole core

i haven't found any other solution or tipps...

EDIT: while i got this window error open i can access the settings via right click. Launch and open RadeonPro won't open

 

Try disabling overclock in settings dialog.

The error message means you have some invalid data in registry, uninstalling the current driver and deleting ati driver related keys from registry seems to help.

 

hmm i did as told, deleted 10.6 rebooted into safe mode cleared registry with 2 different programs. Maybe i should delete them manually, do u may know where to find them (win7x64)?

That was just the one at the top, i have a few other profiles as well below that, do you want those as well?

 

Yes, those profiles files are being read by RadeonPro and I think they are the cause of error you have reported, please list all because the error can be in any of them. :cry:

 

As soon as i get home today i will post all of the profiles, i could delete them and see if that solves the problem, or would you still want them for further research? (I am at work at the moment)

 

I want to see why the parsing is failing, that's why I asked you to post profiles files contents.
