lol...ive come to rely on rp, things are slowly breaking...i would just use CCC, but it has no D3D Triple Buffering control!

the only other tool i know of is ATT (ati tray tools). Its still being updated, although slowly...and the profile implementation isnt as robust...

All graphics cards support v-sync. It's an industry standard feature on all graphics cards.

If your problem is screen tearing, using a framerate limiter won't correct it as screen tearing occurs when the graphics card's output framerate isn't properly sync'd with the display's refresh rate.

Man I wish this supported low level overclocking Like ATT
att is fairly unsupported as ray doesn't have the resources to develop for it and it doesn't do haft the stuff RP does bah.

Has anyone even bothered to step up to the plate and donate a card to the author so he can update Radeon Pro? It's not like some of you don't have the cash.....

It doesn't need to, it can use MSI AB OC profiles on the scripts page.

Hell once you've set up your profiles in AB, RadeonPro can apply them per game and AB doesn't even need to be running.

Does the author even want to continue working on it? The last time I spoke to him he said he has no interest in implementing options to match Inspector. He asked (rhetorically?) why would he implement something (such as combo AA) when AMD don't offer it... which made no sense to me. Having control beyond what is offered by default is the entire point of these types of programs.

Hmmm, I actually remember you asking him...I was also thinking wtf??

But seriously what's wrong with CCC?? It's a powerful, friendly bug-free tool that does everything a user could ask for.
We should be thankful to ATI for supporting their customers with such great software.

No "Force Triple Buffering" (for D3D).
No "Force V-Sync" (That actually works).

    Don't care about other stuff.
Those 2 options are the only reason I still use RadeonPro.

If someone made a simple tool that only does those 2 things I would use that.
All other features in RadeonPro are useless now after CCC implemented the it's own profile system.

The best thing would be to add those 2 options in CCC somehow. PLEASE AMD!!!!

    ditto

Force Triple Buffering for D3D is the only reason i still use RP.

Make it 3 options, your 2 above + Flip Queue aswell please :)

Also RadeonPro is still a great alternative to CCC as its quicker & more lightweight.

    P:S
You've just described D3Doverider if you only want your 2 options ;)

Only it's heavier on the system than RadeonPro and works only with DX9 last time I checked.
But really, add those check marks in CCC and it's perfection.

The amount of crap though that comes with CCC - it's like bloatware...

    I miss Nvidia Inspector.

In an effort to get the game Dead Space to work with vsync I installed RadeonPro after fully uninstalling AMD's 12.2 drivers and reinstalling only the display driver. I setup a profile for Dead Space and ran the game, couldn't resolve my issue and closed the game. However, I no longer had a taskbar and fonts were now fuzzy. I have tried resetting RadeonPro to default settings, reinstalling AMD's drivers, rolling back drivers, and uninstalling RadeonPro. Nothing has returned the Windows taskbar and sharp fonts.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    NOTE: See link for specs.

Shouldn't clicking "Reset defaults" in the top right corner of RP work? Or even uninstalling it?

Is the 1080p issue for another post?

EDIT: Issue resolved - The refresh rate was at 59Hz, setting it to 60 sorted the issue (text is sharp and taskbar returned instantly). Any clue how that could have been changed?

I should clarify, in the control panel > personalization > display settings >advanced settings > monitor. Not inside of RadeonPro itself.

Does RP still work with 12.3 beta/whql and 12.4 betas? I haven't upgraded in a while and would like to know so I can keep using RP and skip using CCC.
