    I have a few questions!

What difference does forcing a game (process) higher priority if anything at all?

Stealth mode is always greyed out now. Why? I am using the latest version.

    Thanks.

Didn't seem to work. I also tried reverting back to the 10.12 drivers, then installing 11.4 over it just for kicks. Ah well, thanks for trying. It's just bizarre that it stopped working all of the sudden.

Also, when I start any game, even if it has a profile under RP for it, I know the settings won't work before it even finishes launching because the logo in the taskbar for RP turns into the "Stop" signal. Does that perhaps tell you if I'm doing something wrong?

Manp and kuddles, as a last resort, try to run RP as administrator (if you already didn't tried it).

theorically it puts it on windows higher priroty, giving more cpu cycles and time, in reality difference its usually almost 0 since windows already gives higher priority to active window but well.

Stealth mode doesnt work yet i think, its a "will be implemented"

Hi, first off thank you for this excellent piece of program, I could never get the vsync to lock on my CRT without it.

I am currently having a bit of a problem on my secondary rig with a HD4850. Whenever radeonpro is on, any recent browser (tried chrome, IE9, FF4) jumps to about 50% in cpu usage in a matter of few seconds. Without radeopro, they hardly take 5% as expected. I have also tried enabling "GPU Accelerated Compositing" and "GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D" at no avail. If I kill the radeonpro process in the task manager when all this is happening, chrome remains at 50% and the rest 50% is taken up by a "GPU process" according to the chrome's built-in process manager. Restarting chrome sans radeonpro instantly fixes it however.

The earliest I remember starting to take note of this was roughly about when 10.12 came along, maybe has something to do with the infamous 100% GPU usage bug? I don't have that bug on this computer though.

Also, couldn't reproduce this on my primary rig (HD5850) with a similar set of background apps running (daemon tools, MSE, afterburner)

add chrome.exe to exceptions in settings, dont have radeonpro here to put a detailed guide, but go settings and there is a ignore-programs listl.

Just tried it, didn't work. Manually shutting down the browser instance sometimes leaves some flash related process (forgot the exact name) behind, so I tried disabling the internal flash plugin and wipe out flash10 traces with revo uninstaller and re-install. None of that seemed to do anything :(

japamd, radeonpro comes up with the 'your card has features that can be enaled' dialogue

-pushing NO actually enables them & the dialogue wont appear anymore
    -pushing YES is the opposite
this happened on 11.2 some time ago, then when i installed 11.3, it reverted to how it should be

i accidentally opened radeonpro today & forgot about the flipped buttons, so it changed my CCC
then i tried installing CCC2 (was on 1) & the changes are not undone
i dont want to push the factory defaults button in case i lose my gpu scaling option or if it doesnt do anything

which reg keys can i adjust to revert the change? or can you put an option to toggle back & forth?

i'm sure it works for you but i think we need to find out why vsync fails for some people with some games and help japamd fix it

Does anyone use RadeonPro with CCC2, or do you disable CCC from starting? For someone who doesn't overclock, is there any reason to use CCC?

    :3eyes:, Video, color, options

RadeonPro its just an advanced "Gaming" tab

Sorry I wasn't clear. What I meant, is there any reason to have both CCC and RadeonPro running? After having all my settings in CCC saved, could I exit CCC and just have RadeonPro running without losing anything? The only thing I found that won't load is overdrive/overclock settings.

Catalyst Processes are about 5 to 14MB(when full), Not a big deal

    RadeonPro is 17MB

In technical speaking, Its really not significant unload CCC from memory
