CrossFireX for Darksiders is disabled in the 10.9a CAP so when you run Dead Space with the renamed executable it too only runs on one GPU. CAPs are for single card and CFX setups as far as I know not just CFX ones.

Renaming the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.exe executable to DarksidersPC.exe also allows AA in that game too, something that wasn't possible before.

Makes me wonder what other deferred rendering games will run with that profile as well.

Anyone found any others? Bionic Commando? GTA IV?

    *EDIT*

Bionic Commando doesn't work nor does ArcaniA: Gothic 4, Stone Giant or PURE.

ok confirmed RPro not working well with WOW in dx11 mode.. everything works fine under dx9 default mode. character model texture doesnt load and i can only see the glowing effects from the weapons.

If you add DarksidersPC.exe as an AA compatibility in RP then you can force that AA compatibility setting for both Dead Space and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. This allows AA to be forced with the advantage that any CFX or trainers will still work because the originally named executable is still running.

How did you solved it? Did you updated the program or there was another program causing the freeze?

I updated and seemed to work.

I'll make some more tests tomorrow when I'll have time to play and report if something strange happens again :D

2, both sides of the one bar move. But in EVE, both sides of both bars move - is that somehow wrongly suggesting quadfire?

    I see, thanks.

lol, so you can see 2 CrossfireX bars in EVE with a single 5970 card?

You should see 1 CrossfireX bar for each dual gpu set, tri-fire should show 2 CrossfireX bars but only 3 moving bars.

Hey Mr. John! This is some fantastic work you've done here. Just had to say thanks on my behalf and on the behalf of ATI/AMD (since your work has probably kept rioting mobs from forming at their doorstep). :D

A little clarification for me though please. Is it not possible to use the crossfire bar and force v-sync simultaneously? Also is there an option to scale the size of the crossfire bar or am I just blind? Love the option but find it to be way way way to big at 1080 resolution.

    Cheers

You and AMD are welcome :)

You can but only in DX9, but be ready to experience stuttering in some games. In DX10 and above vsync if turned off when the CrossfireX bar is visible, I made it that way to avoid stuttering.

The CrossfireX bar can't be scaled and I am not going to make it scalable, but I plan to release other meter type, like a speedometer with integrated GPU temperature and FAN speed.

Yep, weird, huh. I guess it's just a fluke then, glad to hear everything is as it should be re: bc2.

Why don't RP profiles work in Crysis Dx9 mode? It simply doesn't copy any dlls to the Crysis folder, which means that only global settings affect Crysis. Normally, it should work perfectly in Dx9, shouldn't it? I mean, I can even force AA with the global settings, it's just that no dll files are copied. I have set Crysis.exe as trigger, and I have also tried to set Crysis64.exe as an additional trigger, but both ways don't work. Starting the game from RP doesn't help, either.
I haven't had the time to look into the whole thread again, but if this has been brought up already, my apologies, but give me a link then, please.

I have a question. Is it possible to force custom FOV in games ? It could be the greatest feature ever, because it would make most of console ports playable (FOV 55 is s bloody misunderstand ).

I don't think it's possible as FOV is a graphics engine setting, not D3D/OGL setting.

Right. It's up to the game to handle it.

I downloaded the new fallout vegas game, since steam unlocks it tommorow and i couldnt wait ofcourse :p
The profiling doesnt seem to work for that. dont know if its due to the crack, or perhaps the original fallout3 doesnt work either ? i cant check i dont have it installed.
