It does not engage your hardware, it is a bug saying that it is running, this will ONLY work on 6xxx series cards

Go play Destiny 2 with it on and off and watch ur FPS go up 10% in the same spot.

Look here are benchmarks done here showing it working on 5700xt. from 57 to 62 an 8.8% increase in performance in Cyberpunk on a 5700xt.

Hello, the Steam Deck was recently announced, and it doesn't have a freesync screen. Also seeing that newer games will not run at much more than 30fps on it (Valve even mentioning 30fps being the target), I started searching for ways to force half refreshrate vsync on AMD. To my disappointment and surprise, I came up short. There's apparently some SpecialK utility, but it's not universal (support for games has to be added by the dev), there's also RTSS scanline sync x/2 but that only actually works if you have a big beefy GPU with lots of headroom above the 30fps cap. This headroom will obviously not exist on the SteamDeck.

So I come to you with a simple question, can this RadeonMod utility force half-refreshrate vsync globally, preferrably with triple-buffering? I know support for the SteamDeck's APU has to be added, but is it possible at the moment with the supported GPUs?

It can if you have a older gpu .. from r9 2xx to rx 5xx

5xxx and 6xxx dont support it properly and windows 10 has many issues with the program too

should be marked as deprecated software really

Thanks a lot for the quick and simple answer! I guess I'll have to rely on Valve to do something... I just really hope it's not something they do for SteamOS exclusively since I want to use Windows on it...

Radeon needs something like NV Inspector.
Sadly, best Moders are on NV side

Somebody needs to check if our Lod adjustment still working with new drivers.
IMhO they don't working same as NV side (More Crisp or blurrry).

  12. I can't say I've noticed any difference on my hardware (RX 580, 2700X), but there's multiple programs that state Resizable BAR is enabled on both Windows and Linux.

I'm not entirely sure it does anything beneficial on Windows or if it's even being used (knowing AMD it's probably not wired up in the drivers), but I'm confident Linux doesn't mess around with reporting it as enabled.

Hi, tell me plz how to optimize the graphics in DayZ on R7 250 1 GB. Is it possible to degrade the textures in the same way as on Nvidia Profile Inspector?

Hi! im currently using RadeonMod and i need some help towards ShaderCache.

I have set it to 0x3200 or whatever it is, which is the enabled option, right?

What should i put "ShaderCache_Na" on then?

And why does it say i dont have registry to modify when trying to enable DX9 tweaks?

    Amazing program. Much love.

Just wanted to report the link to the latest version (1.0.16) in OP appears to be broken and the mirror is an older version.

Luckily I had a copy on my other machine :)

Also thanks for the app -- allowed me to enable dithering via DisplayPort on an R9 380 (keyname DP_DisableDither).

Not sure why AMD thought it should be disabled by default on DisplayPort but not HDMI.

In any case gradients are smooth now and I can modify the monitor calibration via Radeon control panel or video card gamma table without banding artefacts .
