    So does RadeonPro still work with the latest drivers then? I use it for triple-buffering every game I play on my R9 290.

    After reading all the pages im still confused, does flip queue size work with dx11 (overwatch) ?as I still have a HD6850 and using catalyst.

    No, it doesn't work for DX11 via reg tweak. You need Crimson driver, then you'll have always prerenderlimit of 1 with both DX9 & 11.

    Now in Crimson all you can do is to set Texture Quality on High (from normal one)
    In some Games* you can set Aniso on HQ AF (in Taskbar under Aniso)
    (* Heroes VII and R6: Siedge don't untick it so its working there for sure)
    Makes Textures more accurate + more 'clean' looks.

    Now in ATI Radeon drivers all options for Quality are Best by default.
    You have 32Bit (instead of 24bit) Z stencil buffer + other Z related opt.
    32Bit Internal output renderer etc.

    You got this covered in my Thread :)

    So I tried Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta, the latest available for my card and I still feel like theres 3 pre-rendered frames, and pretty much the exact same fps as on latest catalyst 15.7.1.

    Please help

    Go in registry to these two locations and edit this settings as you like:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000\UMD]
    and
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\amdkmdag\UMD]

    "Main3D_DEF"="3"
    "Main3D"=hex:33,20
    "Main3D_SET"=hex:30,20,31,20,32,20,33,20,34,20,35,00 (Here you have what to put in upper lines)

    Maybe they didn't implement prerederlimit 1 for non-GCN GPUs with Crimson?
    Messing around with reg keys is a waste of time for DX11, won't change anything.

    RadeonPro also just relies on registry hacks for prerenderlimit that don't work with DX11, unfortunately.

    But I remember that the Overwatch beta also felt quite laggy with Crimson drivers and my R9 390. Probably it simply can't be fixed with prerenderlimit 1 or it would be even laggier without it.
    An example for this would be Dying Light. Feels better with prerenderlimit 1, but still very laggy.

    In Registry for Radeons are sometimes that kind of entries to help you write right Hex Value, its only for Knowing the drill ;-)

    you need to edit only first two registers :nerd:

    None. Enforcing it is not supported. You need a third party app like RadeonPro.

    I don't think enforcing TB for DX10/11 is even possible with any tool.

    With which game did you test it? It does not work in Talos Principle, so I assume it doesn't do with others.
    D3DOverrider doesn't work either. btw.

    RadeonPro and D3DOverrider still work on W10 and older games. (I was just using RP for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, a DX9 game) Tho it is true some games do not work. Note that some games need to be launched from RP to get TB enabled, like VTM:B. Doesn't get enabled if I launch from game's shortcut.

    An alternative is to use Borderless Gaming application. This will force a game to Borderless Windowed mode, which automatically has Triple Buffering. Note that the anal retentive will bitch that both modes increase input lag.

    I'm currently testing BG with VTM:B and seems to work nicely. To get it to work, I have to wait until I am in the Main Menu before enabling, otherwise it crashes. EDIT: NVM, didn't work, needs windowed mode to enable. Back to RP.
