The method you linked to is exactly the same, just done by the program instead.

I do know when installing drivers, there are extra 00's added by AMD, not by the program. Tessellation_OPTION for example, it's default state is 30000000 but once you toggle the option in Radeon Settings/CCC it's 3000.
With these values, such as 3000, extra 00's won't make any difference. The reason the Default Values in RadeonMod are truncated is because AMD didn't make up their mind on which values to use and actually use both so I decided to use less 00's with 4 digits.
If you modify FlipQueueSize to 0x3100 (which is 3100 in the registry), that's right.

If I set ShaderCache in RadeonMod to 0x3200 (which is 3200 in the registry) Assassin's Creed Syndicate has the cache created.

Quick Question : after you change settings you need to reset the driver for it to take affect?

sorry for the noob Q but Im not very friendly with graphic settings

I play iRacing with HD 7600M Series, the "game" itselft has feature of V Sync so I get better fps, it has its own anti analysing option too

Could I get more performance using RaedonMod or no? (I struggle with fps drops)

Does this only work for Direct-X 9?

To check if you can influence the FQS for DX11, you could try madVR DX11 fullscreen exclusive mode and display the queue lengths via ctrl + j.
Present queue shouldn't be longer than the set up value then.

It's the same thing that's in RadeonMod.

It didn't work before Crimson with DX11.
I think it's not known if it works with Crimson now. You'd have to test it, e.g. with the method I described above.

I'm trying right now but the software won't go into full screen. Is there a guide on how to use it?

I'd test it in MPC HC. You have to install madVR by running tha bat, then select it in MPC HC, restart it, open a video file with it.
Via the tray icon you should be able to enter the madVR settings. In rendering -> general settings "enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode" should be ticked by default (leave it on). Tick the checkbox "use Direct3D 11 for presentation".
In rendering -> exclusive mode settings, you could also untick the 3s delay before it enters FSE.
Restart MPC HC, open a video file and double click/press F11 to enter FSE. Then you can open the OSD by pressing ctrl + j.
Present queue is the interesting information then.

Btw: It's normal that present queue doesn't get shorter with D3D9 when limiting it via driver, it's the same with Nvidia. Only with D3D11 it will be an indicator if driver really limits the queue lengths.

I've extensivly tested all the Flip Queue settings with the MadVR + MPC tool. Results are in!
The flip queue did NOT change.
I think the FQS tweaks only work for DX9.

So, present queue was always 8/8?

Weird, they said they would use 1 as default.
That happens on Nvidia with and without prerenderlimit 1 forced:

Does it change something when you rename mpc-hc64.exe e.g. to witcher3.exe?

Not sure. Can't test this until a weeks time. Very busy. We need someone else to fiddle with the FQS.

    I can.

This FQS thing is all very confuse.

Starting from Sunday (included) i will have 3 off work days and i will be able to test it in DX9 and DX11 games with CFX and without.

I just need someone who explains how the hell i can test FQS in games who has not in-game FQS setting.

Are in-games FQS settings working (DX11) and AMD FQS settings not working (DX11) for games who have not this in-game setting?

I think driver setting should override the in-game setting.

This is the way I understand it.
Most games have a set FQS. AMD driver can override it, if AMD want to! They do this through game profiles which are coded into the driver. Changing the FQS is the registry might only work for DX9 API. That's my conclusion.
